Uno Mas Mexican Cantina — Restaurant in Longwood

Lovely little restaurant decor wise. Outstanding food & menu!! The food fired pizzas are crazy delicious. We tried the Blue pizza with caramelized onions and blue cheese. We also had the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle pasta and it is by far the best I've ever had. The lemon in the sauce is noticeable if you like a strong flavor profile and really highlights this wonderful dish. Bits of shaved and roasted garlic made the Pappardelle flavorful. The wild mushrooms gave a rich and full taste to this dish. I opted to have chicken added to the pasta. The chicken came out charbroiled and perfect! Highly recommended. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating and let us know the days of the week for specials on Magrita Pizzas and Chicken Parmasean that we will definitely be back to try!

Update: 3rd time again last night and it was amazing per usual. I love a good, consistently top quality service + ingredients restaurant and F&D does NOT disappoint. Points if get Valerie as your waitress. She's awesome!

I would leave a dozen good review for this place if it would let me, but they allow only the one so I keep editing to show my love for F&D. We were in last week and they had a special menu that our waitress told us that they may keep a couple of the items. The special menu was absolutely fantastic and both myself and a friend had items off the list. It was a difficult task choosing between the Chicken Scalapini & the Prosciutto, Fig, Argula & Blue Cheese Pizza but I feel I definitely chose wisely.

The Pizza was out of this world with the wood fired Pizza crust, hot bubbling mozzarella cheese topped with caramelized onions, sweet Fig, tart arugula and blue cheese. They finished the pie off with salty Prosciutto and a sweet Balsamic Drizzle. The flavor profile was bananas and I highly recommend if you like lots of complex flavors. It was hands down the best pie I have had....ever....

Hoping F&D sees this and seriously considers keeping this on the menu! Shout out for the absolutely delicious Chicken Scalapini as well, the capers, lemon and gently breaded chicken were also very very good. ❤️

Update! Catalina was a fantastic waitress, hope she sees this review. Very accommodating and got us in and out in quickly. The food as always...

Our reservation was for 4 at 12:45, our table was ready when we arrived which was nice however it took nearly 25-30 minutes to even be greeted or get water. By the time our server came over we were hungry and thirsty so we ordered a few things to get started. That took another 15-20 minutes so the next time she came over we decided to "double order". At 10 minutes to 2 we were informed it was last call and brunch was over. We still had very full drinks and plates we were working on so we asked for to go boxes as not to waste everything that FINALLY came out at 1:45 to which we were told we couldn't get boxes and just leave whatever we couldn't finish.

Now on to the food & drinks. Drinks took forever because they didn't have enough glasses which wasn't surprising since there were dirty/empty glasses at uncleaned tables and plenty of people like us sitting around waiting for food & drinks. At one point we had to ask specifically for our empty glasses and plates be taken away. Once the drinks finally came, the Sangria was way too sweet & only tasted like sugared fruit. The mimosas were in tiny glasses that were overly juiced. The food was barely cooked and lukewarm. I asked if I could just have plain champagne or juice on the side and was told no!! What am I paying for then? If it's bottomless, I should be able to order the mimosas the way I want.

I felt particularly bad about the whole experience b/c it was me who convinced my friends to come here since I absolutely love the Curry Ford location. This was an absolute disaster and very unorganized brunch. I'll stick to the Curry...
