I got a pastalillo, butter cheese steak, and Cajun fries. The pastalillo was a great portion size for the price, and the shell was crispy and flaky. The filling was hearty and packed with potato beef and cheese, and was nicely seasoned. Many places underfill their version of dough filled products, this was not one of them. The Cajun fries were battered which gave them an extra crispy exterior which I'm personally a big fan of, and I always appreciate when I can order fries with seasoning instead of boring plain ones. The cheese steak was well portioned. Not so much that it's impossible to eat, but enough that you feel like you got your moneys worth. The bread was buttery as the name of the item promised. The flavor of the filling was your typical really good cheesestesk, which is a compliment, I only mean that there isn't anything super different about it. The cheesestesk was incredibly greasy and buttery, which I cannot hold against them because that's what this category of food is, if you want a salad go somewhere else. Thag being said, that can be a turn off for some so it's worth mentioning. Overall, I really enjoyed all my food and I would definitely come again. I would have given one more star on this review had it not been for a couple things. The pastelillos were delicious. Meat was seasoned well and they had lots of meat! HOWEVER, they were a little on the greasy side. Which I think can be remedied if the oil is just a tad bit hotter. Now, on to the wings. My wife ordered the garlic Parmesan and I ordered the Detroit honey hot wings. I thought my wings were delicious. A little crispy and that’s what I like. My wife’s wings were a little on the soggy side and she didn’t like that. We also ordered the yellow rice and that was really good. Now, what lost this review a couple stars was the onion rings. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while! I ALWAYS support local shops 1st. Finally go there. My order was about $70. Guy said about 15-20 and he would bring to my car. A HOUR LATER; i go to window and ask if order is ready. They had no clue what i ordered etc etc. I was pissed! I tried to have patience and was mad i sat there that long before i said anything! After the hour wait; 20mins later i get my food! Not an apology, extra fries for your wait! Nothing! They had a lot of door dashers come up while i observed for over 90mins.
