Rick's Barbecue — Restaurant in Loretto

I ordered a slab of ribs, pint of potato salad, cobbler and a large cup of ice. I received half a slab of ribs with end pieces put together to try and make the other half up. The potato salad and cobbler were correct. My biggest issue with this order is that I paid you $0.50 for a large cup of ice. You give me a cup of that's 75% full and has black marks inside of the cup as if the ink design from another cup transferred into it. There's no excuse for this. You can take 2 seconds to look inside the cup before putting anything in it. And there's no reason AT ALL to charge us for a cup of ice and not fill it ALL THE WAY UP. Im spending almost $40 on my order and you mean to tell me you cheated me out of half a slab of ribs AND my ICE???? Im more upset about the ice than anything because Sonic is nearby. I could have gone there and gotten a large cup of ice without trouble.

And since when did Ricks stop giving out the complementary wet wipes when we order a slab of ribs with sides?? The service overall has gone downhill. The employees don't have bad attitudes but their service skills- making the food look presentable, not handing us food containers that have food spilled on or, napkins, putting our slabs of ribs in the foil containers has declined. Rick's was recommended by a friend from Lawrenceburg as a must visit while camping at David Crockett State Park. For a Thursday night they were quite busy. I can see why it's a local favorite. The meats we ordered were great, smoked well and not over done. The sides were good / OK. The baked potato salad was tasty. The mustard slaw is different, kinda spicy, it would be great on a hot dog, it almost had a hint of sauerkraut. The portion size was commensurate with the price. The only knock I have is a personal preference; I love baked beans and just want some meat cooked in with them. I want to start by saying the manager was kind and did what I asked. My family has been eating here for years. Recently we have had multiple issues with the FOOD at the Lawrenceburg location. We decided to stop eating there. We were visiting Loretto today and decided to try them. They gave us the wrong food. When I called the line was busy.
