Bagels were hard and a bit stale...and I went at 10:30am! I ordered an egg an cheese bagel sandwich and was horrified to see her pour raw scrambled eggs from a tupperware container into an open bowl and MICROWAVED THE EGGS! The eggs were grainy and kind of tough...worst that I've tasted...ever. About 20 minutes after finishing, my stomach started getting that curdly/greasy feeling, and a few minutes later, started hurting...bad. Less than half an hour later, I was doubled over in pain as my stomach started clenching spasmodically. I do not vomit easily, but very nearly did, and I probably should have gone to the hospital. My girlfriend had the same, but only was able to eat 1/4 of it, before she threw it away because it was so gross...and even just eating a few bites gave her the same symptoms as I had (albeit a little less severely since she just had a bit). I will never set foot in that place again, and I suggest you do the same. Can't believe they passed health inspection...wouldnt be surprised if palms were...
Read moreI have visited Bagelicious several times in the past and have typically ordered a plain bagel with melted mozzarella. In previous visits, I was charged the same price as a bagel with cream cheese. However, during my most recent visit today, I was told the same item would now cost as a “pizza bagel,” despite it being nothing more than a bagel with melted mozzarella. When I calmly questioned the price discrepancy, the staff became extremely rude and raised their voices at me in front of other customers. The situation felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional, and I couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated differently and possibly discriminated against. This experience left me very uncomfortable and disappointed. Consistency, respect, and fairness should be standard in customer service, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I do not recommend Bagelicious based on...
Read moreJust spent the holidays in LA with some friends and stumbled upon this cafe for breakfast. WOW! Had a delicious pumpernickel bagel with lox, my friend tried out the sriracha cream cheese with garlic bagel. Bagels were super fresh, warm, straight out of the oven, toasted and very rich in flavor. My friend liked the sriracha cream cheese so much he even ordered a pack to take home. I've tried a few good bagel places in SF and NY but this one is definitely a winner. Super friendly experience with the owner and had a very pleasant experience. There's also a cute shopping area there to sit inside or outside under the shade to eat your breakfast, I will definitely recommend to friends when I'm back. Thanks...
