2nd time eating here. First time it was alright . Chili cheese fries were great but pastrami sandwich was Blah .. figured I’d give it another go now and again was disappointed. Ordered 1/4lb w/cheese . Patty was gray and mushy and paper thin, bun was soggy. Food was cold. I honestly dont know how they remain in business. I definitely wont be coming back though. Twice in a row couldn’t even get through my whole meal , for a family of 3 spent $60 the first time and $50 this time just to end up giving half of our food to the dog both times. Pretty sad considering they seemed like a good place from the looks and reviews, i was excited to try it . But i guess that was a long time ago. Whoever is running this business now has run it into the ground. Im sure the original owner would be disappointed. Need a real change over there in management and cooks/kitchen staff. From someone who has only ever had it twice and already feels like i do says a lot. If other people who havent tried it have the same experience its only a matter of time before they get so rundown they go bankrupt and are forced to close. It’s a sad future for bobo’s if they dont make some...
Read moreHello Bobos.. we were excited to have Bobos again because we had not been since Oct but our order was messed up yet again. We got home excited to eat just to discover they forgot the Thousand Island for the salads and ranch for the zuchinni and the 2 extra ranch I paid for. I called spoke to Ila who said I could come pick up the sauces.. I live 15 mins away.. I told her my food would be cold by the time I came back. She said all she could do was have me bring the food back and they could remake it. I was upset and told her I wanted a refund. I was upset at their lack of care or sympathy, the restaurant wasn't even busy for a Saturday night, there was no reason for this. My kids were hungry so I opted not to go and make them wait but I am upset. If I had not purchased the additional ranch I would of had nothing for the food. I purchased 4 extra ranch for a reason we ate the food dry.. I hope someone reaches out to make this better. We spent over $50 for dry food, we went out of our way to go to Bobos. They also forgot the bacon on the salad... just...
Read moreI have lived in the San Fernando Valley for 15 years now and never attempted to visit this place until someone at work raved about the chili cheese fries recently. I always thought it was a low budget bad tasting burger joint all these years that I've passed this place by public transportation especially before it was remodeled around 2019. We don't have many of these types of restaurants you can find all over South Los Angeles in most of the San Fernando Valley, so I didn't expect this place to be any good since most food out here is bad.
I will however say you get a lot of food for your buck. No one in my family managed to finish everything including me. I thought the chili cheese fries were okay and the pastrami makes it good. You get a lot of meat in the pastrami chili cheese fries. The fried zucchini with ranch was also good. Also on my visit I was told breakfast is sold all day so I will be going back to explore the rest of the menu. These places tend to have pretty...
