Me, my brother and his girlfriend came here yesterday. My brother recommended this place because he said a coworker had gotten food from here and it was really good. Since my brother was the only one who has tried the food before we decided to buy a combo so we could all try the food before purchasing a large order. So, my brother and his girlfriend ordered a combo. The menu that we were shown lists the price as $10.99 and it says that it comes with two small sides. So, the waitress asked them if they wanted the combo with the plantains. So, they said yes. But the waitress mentioned that it was an additional charge for the plantains. So, when we get the receipt for the order the waitress mentioned that she accidentally charged double for the plantains but that she gave double the amount of plantains because of her mistake. So, we finally get the order and we go outside in the car to try it and it was just one piece of chicken and the plantains. No sides. So, after we all tried the chicken we decided to go back inside and get the two sides that she didn't put in the bag and we were going to order the family special. Their website shows a family special and I believe it was $28.99 for a whole chicken and a soda and two sides. So, my brother and his girlfriend go back inside to order the family special and get the two sides that the waitress forgot to put in the bag. So, she says that the combo doesn't come with two sides and that the plantains were the sides. That doesn't even make sense because we had to pay extra for the plantains. The payment amount was like $15 for literally one piece of chicken and plantains. Clearly this is false advertisement. The menu that she showed us says that the combo comes with two small sides. It even says that on the receipt but we didn't receive the sides. Then when my brother and his girlfriend ask about the family special on the website she stated that that price is incorrect and that the family special was like 40 something or 50 something dollars and that no drink was included. Also she said it would be a 30 minute wait for the chicken. So, we left. I wouldn't recommend eating here because they are scamming people with their ridiculous prices and they are showing one price but then they tell you a different price. Not to mention that we didn't get sides with a combo. Since when does a combo not...

Read moreWe came here last sunday 7. So an hour before it closed. We waited an ENTIRE hour just to get our 3 orders of their simple 1/2 chicken meal. 10 minutes before they closed, they tell us they are missing a piece of chicken to complete one meal out of 3 and ask if we would like to substitute that piece with aomething else. But how are they missing a piece when they sell in 2’s??? And WHY tell us as its about to close??
We couldnt choose the shrimp meal bc then we would have to pay the difference. TERRIBLE service already AS IS. my mom being the non confrontational one just asked for the sausage and fries along with the piece of chicken regardless. AND SHE DIDNT GET THAT. we PAID for a meal and got a meal that cost LESS than that.
reducing qaste is one thing. But you do NOT SELL FOOD ONLY TO TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS LAST MINUTE THAT YOU WONT COOK ANYMORE AFTER HAVING BOUGHT IT.
Its all generic anyways AND TERRIBLE SERVICE. OPENLY...
