We decided to visit Cafe Calle for the first time after discovering they serve Cafe de Olla and a variety of delicious options. I ordered a Cafe de Olla Latte with almond milk and a Lox and Cream Cheese toast. Upon arrival, we were informed that they could only accept cash or payments via Venmo or Zelle due to a system issue. **Location:** The cafƩ is situated under a residential building next to the subway, tucked away in the corner. While parking can be challenging, we were fortunate to find a spot on the street, with additional parking available in a nearby lot at 33rd corner. **Ambiance:** The coffee shop has a cozy atmosphere, offering plenty of workspace and charging ports, along with ample natural light streaming in through the windows. **Service:** The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our experience was enjoyable and that we had everything we needed during our visit. **Food:** The coffee was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. The Lox Toast was equally impressive, featuring cream cheese, avocado, smoked lox, an egg cooked over easy, and topped with microgreens. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Calle for your coffee cravings, where you can enjoy great vibes and excellent service.

I love to support local coffee shops and was so excited to find Cafe Calle! Street parking was pretty easy and I stopped in for a latte. It was lovely inside with lots of different seating options for work or chill. I ordered a hot oatmilk latte and the barista made a cold one, but very quickly replaced it with a hot one for me! She was very sweet. The community at the coffee shop was great too! They said they do art and bring supplies for people (I believe Wednesdays? 3-5).

Great vanilla latte! Roasted to perfection & a perfect ratio of milk and syrup combination, what a great little hidden community gem! Was passing through the area on the way to work & was hesitant to stop here due to not being familiar with it but it's high ratings review nudged me in the direction of giving it a try and I was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and the cafe was clean and stylish which is always a plus.

Welcome to the best coffee shop in South Central

As a coffee enthusiast I’m always looking for shops that are intentional with the product they serve, the quality, and their connection to the community

You get all 3 at Cafe Calle. My order shifts from an ice mocha to the abuelita cold brew w/ the horchata cold foam - rarely a Spanish Latte (hot)

The food and pastries are delicious. I’m a sucker for their chocolate muffin (warmed up), their chicken pita, or the turkey & cheese croissant. But the highlight of them all, in my opinion, is the chile relleno burrito šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ¤¤

The shop is a well decorated establishment that is rooted in pouring coffee not hate. You get the full experience by work being carried out by Diana and her staff. Her focus to serve and uplift the community is highlighted through the events they host

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the establishment, the service, the staff, and...

Prepare to wait a minimum of 30 minutes for one iced coffee. I have gone over 10 times to this place and learned early on that you need to call ahead to cut that waiting time in half because yes- even if you’re just there to pickup you will still have to wait for them to get your order started but at least it’s a bit more prioritized. There’s 3 employees there and while I understand quality over quantity, it was ridiculous to see one of the employees pour ice cubes one by one while the line was 4 people long, 3 of us had been waiting for 30 mins already… Unfortunately, employees are painfully slow. The coffee is great, the food’s decent but neither is worth the aggravating wait time. If you do go, plan an hour of your life...
