Incompetent people working here! I went through the drive thru. Gave the guy my card and he gave me my order. I left, as one normally would after getting their order. I realized I didnt get my card back so I had to turn around and go back. When I told them i didnt get my card back, they proceeded to tell me the card didnt go through and they didnt find out till after i "took off". They ACCUSED ME OF TAKING OFF AFTER THEY GAVE ME MY ORDER!!! I love Del Taco and this location happens to be on my way home from work in DOWNTOWN. The one lady, I'm guessing the manager on shift, was extremely rude and the guy at the drive thru asked her if he should give my card back to me. Read moreI came from Big 5 with my 92 year old grandpa who needed to use the restroom. He has dementia and doesn't speak English. They would not let him unless we ordered something, apparently because of people breaking into the bathroom on the side of the building. I asked if I could give them $1. The workers/manager said no I have to buy something. So I asked what was the cheapest item. He said something for a dollar and change. I gave him $2. He tried to start ringing me up, and I said please just keep it and open the bathroom quickly for my grandpa who was about to have an accident at this point. Will never visit Del Taco again. I ordered a Number 16, a Double Del Burger with only lettuce, meat, and cheese for my son. Surprisingly, I was given just the bun with lettuce. While I understand that work can become monotonous and lead to joking around, it's essential for restaurant staff to maintain attention to detail in food preparation. Despite the humorous aspect, it resulted in an expensive and unsatisfactory purchase of a hamburger without the meat.
