This place was recommended by friends. They liked it cause they were drunk so they pigged out. Naturally I had to come here for lunch. The place is easy to find. The place is also big. 2 rooms for guests but only 1 was open at the time. You go to the counter to order and they give you a number and serve you.
They also clean the tables after each use and bring out clean utensils, napkins and their 2 sauces. The red and green. The green isn't very spicy but it's has a great tangy taste. The red is a bit spicier with more heat taste. I prefer the green but both are good compliments to their food.
I ordered the Huarache de carne asada. It was good. Lits of cotija cheese hidden under the carne asada. The dough is very thick and chewy.
I also ordered a cheese quesadilla. This was the star of the show! I absolutely loved it and will go back for more of these asap! The melted cheese inside mixes so well with the crust and cotija cheese. Also with either red or green sauce, it made it more bomb!
All with a drink for $20. I highly...
Read moreHonesty, I do not recommend anyone to come here. Food is alright, just not worth spending the money here at all. There are no free refills on the majority of the drinks. Hot coffee has free refills. Seems they don't care much about their customers. What they care about is making money. What I mean by that is in a greedy way, especially coming from a small business. That is not good business, in my opinion. They don't even check on customers if they want more coffee or anything else. Takes them a while to clear out tables. I don't recommend dining in or taking out from here. From what I heard and seem like, it can be true by the way the owners seem like they don't care when ordering in. They miss treating worker, over working, and abuse of power. What I can see is that the majority of the employees here do not seem happy to work there, like they are miserable to be there. Just analyzing their face and...
Read moreThe meat was fantastic. The beef/ Asada on a Huarache was not stiff which made it easy to chew and cut. A simple 5 flicks with the knife upon that moderately watery beef. The green salsa mixed with onion and cilantro did not interfere with the meat but rather enriched the flour thick tortilla. Additionally, I ordered a wet burrito of the chorizo choice of meat. Similarly, the beans blended with the green salsa and the chorizo was well cooked but did not come up abundantly.
My only complaints is that it was naturally loud due to many tables of four being filled. While forks, knives, and green salsa were available, slices of lemon were included only with orders of tacos. Maybe a request at the counter may be necessary.
Overall, it was a good meal. Speedy service and practically...
