Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My daughters went to the Jack in the box on ventura and Winnetka and purchased the $3.00 mini munchie box, large curly fries and a root beer float on Tuesday evening 9/21/2020 when they got home they realized that they got a root beer drink instead of the Root beer float. I called the store and spoke to a male and he left me waiting on the phone 2 separate times while he investigated the order and confirmed the order. He then started arguing with me about it and he made me drive all the way back to take the drink back , I wasn't planning on returning today. Finally we went back and returned the drink.. I'm very displeased with the customer service provided. I still don't understand why they made me return the drink, are they planning on reusing the cup or the drink itself? Why expose your group of employees to an outside drink that entered the customers car/home just to make a point? The employee that took the drink back looked very nervous which upset me, because there was no reason for her to be furthermore exposed during the middle of a pandemic. It should have been the man that was demanding the drink back who came to grab it, instead he stood behind his employee and watched. I guess it was just a man on a power trip who doesn't value his co-workers. Also, why take your time to argue with a customer over a company that doesn't truly value you and will replace you if needed. Anyways, won't be returning but I wish all the employees stay safe...

Staff is beyond incompetent.. Waited 20 min in the drive thru at the window after ordering before they even told us they'd not written down our order. Waited another 20 min for our food while the line behind us grew. THEN after somehow managing to get the food done they stared at us while we waited for the drinks that came with the order. When we told them we we're waiting for our drinks they rang them up and tried to charge us an additional $10 for drinks that should have already been done nearly a hour ago. Absolutely ridiculous, I couldn't imagine the circumstances that drove the owner of this business to hire such inadequate employees, but they did, and know the customers have to pay for it. There are so many other Jack in the Box's go to literally any other...

It's an American Icon of fast food. I remember coming to JITB with my parents when I was a kid. Back then the drive thru speaker where you order was a clown with the round head popping out of the box. I think a great promotion would be for them to offer a few menu items no longer available at Jack in the Box. Like their old school deep fried burritos or their apple or lemon turnovers... deep fried pies with filling like hot lava when you bit into them which is probably why they dont offer either of these items anymore and it's too bad really that a few morons who don't know better than to wait for these kind of items to cool down a bif before handing this kind of stuff to their two year olds had to ruin it for the rest of us who loved them.
