I honestly can’t believe it has taken me this long to write a review for Joselito’s. I’ve been coming here since the 80s and while the restaurant has gone through different ownership over the years, the food right now is absolutely on point. This place is one of my favorite hidden gems. Last night we sat indoors to escape the heat, and the atmosphere was inviting, lively, and comfortable. Joselito’s also has outdoor seating which makes it a great spot no matter the season. We started with margaritas and they were so good we ordered two more to take home. I had the Cadillac and my friend had the jalapeño margarita. Both were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and poured with a generous hand. The food was just as memorable. The jalapeño cheese spring rolls were incredible. I had never tried them before and they might be my new favorite appetizer. The sweet corn cakes were another standout, rich and flavorful, and we split a classic bean and cheese burrito that hit all the right notes of comfort food. The staff was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and always checking in at the right time. If you are craving authentic and delicious Mexican food in Tujunga with great drinks, warm service, and a fun atmosphere, Joselito’s should be at the top of your list. After decades of visiting, it remains a favorite that just keeps getting better.

Good service, food and casual but pleasant atmosphere. The portions were generous and the giant watermelon Margherita is a great way to cool off and enjoy the the beautiful California weather. They were even kind enough to give us excess Margherita in separate glasses as some of it did not fit in the watermelon! Great place, must go. The tacos and beer battered stuff is a must and their steak Ranchero is a delicious but classic platter of rice beans and meat, can't go wrong. On this occasion I got their Baja Fish & Chips, they were phenomenal, crunchy and flaky fish, not too greasy, and the sauces! They gave me four amazing sauces to enjoy my meal! They know it's all about the sauce (Garlic butter, chipotle, tangy tartar sauce and some slaw of sorts). Would recommend to anybody who likes Latin food, tacos, and battered foods. Can't complain.

This is our favorite restaurant in Tujunga. My husband and I love eating a delicious late lunch on the patio beneath the mulberry tree. Their menu is large and their friendly staff will customize dishes without complaint. My husband loves the fancy Enchilada Del Mar. As a vegetarian, I love a cheese Mole Enchilada! I get it with black beans and no rice (since it is cooked in chicken broth). I also love the bean and cheese burrito with black beans. I usually ask for a little avocado and sour cream added. Dogs are allowed, which we also appreciate. They also have a nice sized banquet room for parties or meetings.

Let's start with the Beverages To-Go; what a brilliant idea! Joselito's not only serves up mouthwatering dishes but also offers a delightful array of beverages to complement the flavors. From refreshing horchata to zesty agua frescas, sipping on these authentic drinks added an extra layer of enjoyment to my meal.

Now, onto the star of the show - the food! The menu at Joselito's is a tantalizing journey through Mexican flavors, with each dish carefully crafted to perfection. The street tacos were an absolute treat, bursting with flavor and topped with the freshest ingredients that transported me straight to the bustling streets of Mexico City.

What truly made my visit memorable was the exceptional service from our waitress, Maria. Her warm smile and attentive nature made us feel like honored guests. Maria's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she helped us navigate through the delicious offerings, ensuring we had an unforgettable dining experience.

As we indulged in our main courses, it was evident that the kitchen at Joselito's took great pride in delivering authentic Mexican cuisine. From the sizzling fajitas to the mouthwatering enchiladas, each dish was a celebration of rich flavors and traditional techniques.

The ambiance of the restaurant was equally inviting, with lively music and the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air. It was clear that Joselito's was not just a place to eat but a place to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Mexico.

For anyone seeking a true taste of Mexico in Los Angeles, Joselito's Mexican Food Tujunga is a must-visit. The delectable dishes, the thoughtful addition of Beverages To-Go, and the top-notch service from waitresses like Maria make it a dining experience that stands out from the rest. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Mexican cuisine or a newcomer looking to explore new flavors, Joselito's will...

Terrible. I asked for a window booth. I was asked to wait 5 mins. I waited 10 mins. & in the interim 3 families of 6 persons each came behind me but at least one party was seated ahead of me. I was seated in a dark middle booth & thought I could at least watch football since I did not get a window. Then they turned the TV off. OK. I ordered margarita & it was delightful. The fajitas had maybe 2 or 3 ozs. Of steak & 2 bell peppers cut up. 20.00 for mostly peppers. The server didn't tell me his name, didn't bring any utensils, didn't remember my complete order, did have a "hipster" attitude, calling me "beautiful" ( I am an old senior citizen). BTW both types of onions were not properly peeled. I had to ask a busser for a fork. The busser later came & asked if everything was ok, I said no & he just walked away. No one else asked if I needed anything. I still had a plate full of green peppers which I had no inclination to take in a to go box. Just be sure to ask how many bite size pieces of steak you get before you spend a lot of money. Ironically they gave me a steak knife, but the pieces were so small a infant could have chewed them. Finally, be aware that fajitas are not even served sizzling on cast iron. Simply transferred to the hot platter. I will not go back. I also heard staff apologizing at least 3 times to patrons for multiple reasons. Stick...

VERY DISAPPOINTING! We went here last night for 20th anniversary because of the great reviews and there isn't much to choose from these days. Well it was a hug mistake! The service was TERRIBLE! We asked for salsa three times (never received it), asked for salt and napkins twice. My water glass came with a huge lipstick mark on it and when I showed the waiter he blamed the lipstick; no, how about you look at the glass before you serve it (especially during COVID). We were also told we could only be there for eighty minutes.....how could they hold us to that time limit when their service was so slow??? Then to top it all off, my husbands shrimp cocktail was so much smaller then the table next to us. I asked our waiter if there were two sizes and he said no and tried to convince us it was the same size. It clearly was NOT the same size, so a few minutes later he came back with a size of the juice and told us it had the same amount of shrimp. I am calling BS, do you really think they are counting the cut up shrimp? On the bright side, my husband said the shrimp cocktail was really good!! My Pina Colada was really tasty, not much alcohol, but at least it was good. I really wish we had the same experience as the other people here leaving reviews, we wanted to like this place and become regulars. I am wondering if they are legit and we just had a...
