Reason for visiting: Thursday night football Date/time of visit: Thursday, ~6:00 PM Parking: in the adjacent lot, free; shared with other businesses Party size: 5 Environment/ambience: small sports bar; initially they said they didn't have the game on but figured out they did later, which was odd. A couple TVs, wasn't too crowded. Service: was ok; she came around a few times. Food: was ok; had a few pitchers of Modelo, Pork Hock + Snail, seafood pancake, and chicken wings. The wings tasted good and had good flavor; they're the big wings, which were good. The seafood pancake was ok, not really crispy (comes with a side of sauce). The pork hock was good; didn't try the snail. The galbi ribs were ok too, nothing special Cost: ~$300 with tip

I don't know how people find this place to be even decent, other than having incredibly bad taste in food and environment. For starters, the food has great presentation but the price shows where the owner sunk the redesign of this once classic spot into a club vibe for a place with poor taste in design. This place looks and feels dirty, possibly due to the staffing. The bathrooms are not a place that makes you feel like you should have food here either. Do not recommend and will not return. This is a very honest review. I've had a better experience at dive bars than I've had here.

Food: this is a sports bar/dive that serves great Korean food. I recommend trying the chicken wings or kimchi pork fried rice. Parking: the restaurant has ample parking since it’s in a large shopping area, anchored by CVS. Tips: they offer a good variety of draft beers. They have pork hock, which goes great with beer when watching a game.

It’s been a while that I’ve experienced low level customer service like this 😒 Fortunately, it wasn’t all bad.

When we first walked in, we didn’t get the usual, “hi, how can I help you?” type of greeting. It was more like, them looking at me, then me stating “hi, may we get a table for 6 please?” Answered w/ a nonchalant “sit wherever you want.” (Even though there was a sign that said “please wait to be seated.” 😐)

Part of the lower level of cust service was probably because it was just 2 servers running around a little crazy. Bad judgement on mgmt scheduling. Y

At one point, I asked both of the servers about one of the menu items, wondering what it was. Both replied along the lines of “IDK”—one just walked off afterward and the other described toe what she thought it might be... um, okay...

Onto some of the positive... Spicy wings were great and tasty! They were jumbo wings, not the small tiny ones like one could get at BWW. Garlic fries were tasty, too 🍟

All of our entrees pretty much came out singly or by 2–there were 6 of us.

I originally ordered the Fish Cake Soup. Came out looking NOTHING like the pic in the menu. Looked like fish cakes were just boiled and thrown into some broth... um... 🤦‍♀️ I did mention that and asked for a diff dish that would be more appetizing or edible-looking.

One of the servers (redhead) was nice about it... thank goodness.

I ended up ordering Kimchi Stew which I was hoping would turn out okay, was crossing my fingers 🤞 Verdict: it was okay. Looked like something I could have just thrown together in a hurry, definitely not what you would expect when dining out. I was just grateful it was edible and looked decent 😳

Definitely wouldn’t ever...

What started from a tradition has become a frequent thing. Jug Jug is still the best sports bar in the san fernando valley. Unlike most bars I have been to, there is no judgement. You come any day and any night, and you just enjoy some good brew and if you are hungry.. some really good korean food. Now, the one snack that is lacking is their tortilla chips and salsa. They were once famous for their salsa, until they stopped giving it out to customers. Why? I don't know. But still worth the trip to come here and mingle with friends. It does get loud during game night and when it's a busy night. The music is loud, but bearable. Wish they do karaoke still... I miss their one time karaoke night they had. I took my friends here and they enjoyed jug jug the most which was the karaoke night they had. The owner of this establishment is very friendly and is always out and about. He's great with the customers! I come here for the Soju Cocktails and the beer. Now the specialty that I also come here for are the fries and the spicy wings. Did I say that right.. oh yes I Did. They have the best sweet and very spicy chicken wings. Wherever I may be with friend eating somewhere else, we always need to get our order of spicy chicken wings at Jug Jug. Usually we will make the trip if we are close by. Thats how great these wings are. Definitely a great place to eat, drink, and...

The Jug Jug is a place to drink in Granada Hills north of Rinaldi. Theres another place in the same shopping center to drink but dont go there unless looking for trouble. The place is owned by this badass named Duke. The bartenders are all strippers the Duke meets during the daytime. Because of this the bartenders are super friendly. My friend goes here every night thinking they all want to bang. I keep telling him the only thing that interests them in his pants is his wallet, but the joke goes over his head. Be careful when they ask if you want a big beer, as the big beer is basicly a 40 with the top cut off and a handle attched to the side. Duke will encourage you to drink it fast then laugh at your feeble attempt. He will then slug the beer in 3 seconds and insult your manhood. You will unsuccessfully try to replicate his method and barf on the Barper (bartender/stripper). Then go home and throw up some more. I recommend the Blogie as its just as good going down as it...
