Oishi Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Apparently the owners, Ramiro and Antonio, have many years in the industry in both Little Tokyo and Korea Town and decided to go independent and open their own restaurant.

On a whim I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised at the exceptional quality and authenticity of the dishes and was likewise impressed by the care the staff showed in making sure my order was up to par.

I was looking for hibachi and Oishi came up - I live right down the street and had no idea they were here! This place has fantastic traditional Japanese fare, and it's incredibly priced. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. The beef was really thinly sliced, the chicken was either breast or thigh meat, that was obviously sliced into thinner pieces. For $11.40, the chicken portions shouldn't be modified.
