my mother bought a fruit cake to bring to a family member’s house and we got embarrassed when we realized a chunk was missing as if someone took a bite out of it (I’m sure they didn’t but that’s what it looked like). And when she went back to get a refund the bakery manager didn’t even give her one. Disappointed considering the “quality” of the place...
