Raspado Xpress — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This was the place on laurel canyon in Pacoima. 👎🏼 We arrived at 8:45 PM, well before the posted closing time of 9:00 PM, only to find the doors already locked. My husband knocked, and although an employee saw him, she ignored him. When he knocked again and explained that it wasn’t yet 9 PM and your sign clearly said “OPEN,” she told him to “wait a bit” but never returned. After waiting, he knocked once more, and she finally came to the door only to say the place was closed.

This was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially because this is not the first time we’ve experienced this kind of treatment. A similar situation happened last year with a male employee, and we let it slide, assuming it was a one time issue. Unfortunately, this seems to be a pattern.

We are loyal customers. We’ve supported your business regularly, even in the rain and driving long distances to get there. Being treated this way, ignored, dismissed, and turned away early is not only unprofessional but also very disrespectful.

We hope this message encourages you to address the behavior of your staff so other customers don’t experience the same...

I wish i could give them a five star. Service was decent and fast despite there being a lot of people. Good amount staff helping. There raspados are delicious. I got the kiwi/mango/strawbery with a little lechera on top really recommend this. It is amazing you will love it!!

Unfortunately..... Lets start with the esquite corn had great great texture but was overly sour too much lemon like LITERALLY THE ENTIRE CUP TO THE TOP WITH LEMOM JUICE and it overpowered the flavors and was sadly gross🙅

Number 2. There nachos were full of SALT!! ONCE AGAIN overpowering flavor ruined the entire thing🙅.

Idk of staff was busy...tired... But unfortunately i wasted my money on those. Perhaps I'll give the esquite(corn in a cup) another try next time with NO LEMOM AT ALL.

This is a very small business so there has to be some understanding here. When we came here tonight because my wife wanted her strawberry raspado, there was only 1 person working. We parked in the back of this place and just know it's not in the best of area. When we walked inside, they had a couple of guest there but it doesn't fit a lot of people. My wife got her strawberry with sour cream and whipped cream which came out to a cost that is similar to a burger meal. I don't think it's worth it but she does. We didn't have to wait long for the lady to finish prepping the order. My wife enjoyed her...
