Vittorino’s Italian restaurant — Restaurant in Loudon

So we recent moved to the area not a lot of choices down in loudon but I looked it up and had good reviews so we gave it a try , The service was disappointing me and my son we where the onMy people there and the Sever missed a couple of basic rules like great check on table or ask if you need anything salat was not Italian and the bread it’s just pizza dough with sos my son has spaghetti with marinara sos and they where ok but the sos is very watery and I had chicken Marsala witch looked like soup with that said poor quality when I told the writers I can’t eat it she proceeded to tell me I have to let them know next time and they can make it more consistent politely I told her I had this plate many many times before and pasta and I never had water in my plate instead of sos when I say soup I am not even kidding , didn’t bother to offer to change it or even take it off the bill I haven’t insisted either so 35$ later paid in full we had to drive down the road and go to Olive Garden folk if you like soups they have a lot of choices but I would defiantly not recommend for an Italian place we all have different tastes for sure but I have never in life had so much water...

We went here last Sunday, September 6th and had THE best meal, along with the best servers we've probably ever had! I say servers bc it started out as a woman server but then a young gentleman took over when we started ordering. They were both very nice and accommodating. I do have to say- the young man there was seriously the best and made our day! He was so nice and so attentive, got everything right. Seems like every restaurant weve been to recently, we have some kind of issue with our food or the service, always something but this place was top notch! And the food was DELICIOUS! My husband had the sampler platter and the portion size was beyond fair. We also had the chicken fettuccine alfredo and it was to die for! Some of the best I've ever eaten! They also made a special dish for us that was not on the menu any longer, Chicken Marsala, and that too was the best I've ever had. It all tasted truly authentic and we were very pleased. I'd like to start by saying their food is absolutely delicious .However,the service is less than good. In fact its pretty terrible. The wait staff is friendly enough. I've been to both locations and have the same problem at both of them. The food takes at least 40 minutes .So make sure you've got plenty of time. Also make sure to check that your food arrives to the table correctly. Every time we've been they got our order wrong. The servers don't know their menu, so we often won't get the salad that is (well should be) included. We've even had pasta dishes come to our table with no pasta. How is that possible? Our to go orders are often missing parts of our meals as well. And waiting 20 minutes when picking up to go orders is unacceptable. Especially when our food is sitting in the window.
