Abita Coffee Works - Copperstill — Restaurant in Louisiana

We have been coming here since it opened. This place is hit or miss. The positives are the morning crew and manager are consistently good, friendly and know us by name. However, the lattes are usually not full, they don’t fill them up all the way like PJ’s. The cookies are often stale. I don’t order cookies anymore. The new paninis are good, we have tried 4 different flavors. The girl who works Sunday afternoon doesn’t know how to make the frozen coffee drinks and they are watery with...

Had to make a quick stop here during a long road trip, and this place is a gem! I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, and my wife had the bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit. Both were delicious. We also tried the beignets just for fun, and we were very impressed, although given the amount of sugar, who is eating more than one of these?!! 😄

Their avocado toast is phenomenal. It's also big enough to split if you're not super hungry. I guess more importantly, their coffee is good. I don't usually go for sweet coffee drinks, but I'll make an exception for their King Cake Latte. I got it without whipped cream, and it was not overly sweet. For the purists out there, their regular coffee will suit...
