My husband and I finally tried this place, and while there's nothing "wrong" it's definitely just a small step above Taco Bell. I found it to be overpriced for what it is, and while the food is fine, it's not exceptionally delicious and tasty. The cheese dip was thick and not queso blanco, more like Velveeta, and the chips were unsalted. I also couldn't get any "toppings" added into my Quesadilla. It's definitely not worth 40$ for two entrees. If I wanted to spend that much I'd go to a table service restaurant. However, as I mentioned the food is perfectly fine; if you're looking for a quick mexican-ish meal and in a hurry, this is a convenient stop on your way to the interstate. The restaurant was clean and well lit, the staff was cordial, and the food was made quickly. If you have stopped going to Izzos Illegal Burrito on Hwy 21 because of the frightening condition of that place, this is something sort of comparable that you could try, although they don't have the charred corn so many people love. My husband was just excited to have a burrito bowl so I'm sure we will return.

So I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and was finally able to get over there… after 2 hours on the interstate I pull in on the way home and something told me to order (2) different types of tacos (since only (2) come to an order). I see that they’re almost $9 per order so I’m thinking they’ll be sufficient and I opt for no sides. The young lady at the window was polite and prompt. Once I get my order, my inner happy fat kid comes out and I get home only to be let down by what I see.. I threw an ink pen in the photo for a size reference. Whoever owns this place must have fell and hit their head because Taco Bell tacos are bigger than these things. $6 per order of 2 I can see but not what they charged. Needless to say I won’t be going back and I will be very vocal to my circle in discouraging them to not waste their money there as well!

Definitely will be back again. The seasoned ground beef was good but comparable to taco bell. Salsa will be avoided in the future. Tomatillo sauce was a good alternative to their salsa with a nice flavor and slightly spicy. Queso was good. Chips and salsa are not included with every dish. I had two ground beef tacos with plenty of fixings on soft (corn and flour mix) tortillas. My wife had the taco salad which looked fabulous and the shell was perfectly crispy. Rice and beans were good. If choosing a meal in the future I will pick rice and beans or chips and queso (not salsa).

I had been wanting to try this new taco place since it opened and finally did last week. Came by around 6:50am. The neon "Open" sign was on, as were the lights inside. Upon getting to the drive through menu to order, we were informed that the restaurant was closed. When I informed them that the neon open sign was on, there was a two minute pause and then they said they would take our order. When we pulled up to the window, the lady working the window and the (what I assume was) the owner, were "discussing" (arguing would be a bit strong, but it was a serious discussion) the situation. We sat there for about 4 minutes until the lady opened the window for us to pay. We were informed that the owner wasn't happy, but that he was making the order. That was a very uncomfortable moment. We didn't mean to cause any issues. We just wanted to order a couple tacos. Besides, if they weren't ready to make tacos, they 1. shouldn't have their "Open" sign on and 2. they should just inform us that they wouldn't be able to make the tacos. A customer should never be made to feel like they are inconveniencing an establishment or unappreciated, just because they're trying to support them with their business. Anyway, when we did get our order, my chorizo, egg and cheese taco barely had any chorizo. Disappointing.

Any way, I was excited about this new business, but our experience wasn't great and we probably...

There is barely anywhere around here to eat, so when we saw this place being built we were absolutely stoked to eat tacos every day. Unfortunately the reality really didn't deliver on the expectation at all. We have now eaten here 4 times, with the experiences spanning from right when they opened until just recently a few days ago. The service is definitely below par. Slow regardless of what time you go or how many people are in line. Not being fast food is one thing, but 20-45 minute drive thru waits are unacceptable. Food is delicious but pricey for what you get, portion and quality both considered. We have paid $60+ for a drive thru order for 3 people. Churros are the best deal but extremely greasy, and barely any cinnamon sugar with the teeniest little communion cup of chocolate sauce. Ultimately we probably have spent our last dollar here after the most recent order, appx $25 for 3 tacos and a churro + a 28 minute wait. The fact that you can barely get into the parking lot at the pizza place across the street but you can drive right up to this place - let that tell you everything you...

So I ordered 2 steak tacos, 2 quesabirria tacos and got the combo with chips and queso. Will start with the food. The steak tacos were really good, perfectly cooked and had excellent flavor. The queso is well queso, tasted like what you would get basically everywhere else, but it was good. Now the quesabirria tacos, I will say those are by far the best I ever had. They was so flavorful and cooked perfectly and along with the consomé sauce, outstanding.

Now let’s talk about price, $28 for basically 4 tacos and chips and queso. Had I just did the 4 tacos I was still around $20. That is pretty high and that would probably have me not coming back unfortunately and would not recommend this place only due to pricing being very high here.

But the food is really good here… So if you are ok with spending $20+ dollars on 4 tacos and almost $30 if you want to make it a combo definitely check them out.

I would want to come back but I’m not going spend $20 on 4 small tacos unfortunately and either have to buy more or leave hungry still.

The 4 stars is for food flavor I had to leave one off for...
