Finally decided to give this place a try as usually I only go to Fat boys plus goodbee is kinda out the way.
*note traffic here is heavy expect to wait to get to and DEFINITELY expect to wait to get food here If u didn't order thru toast. Lines wrapped and according to other people here stays here most of the day
I may have to rethink crowning Fatboy's #1 8.95 for a custom pizza that made in front of u and oven baked is pretty phenomenal, ESPECIALLY, considering it's not just basic cheese or pepperoni pizza u get for that price.
As your order moves up the line u can make extra requests or changes if needs be. Which is awesome.
There IS a rewards program same company that Fatboy's uses...toast. except unlike Fatboy's they give rewards on EVERYTHING except alcohol which is 100x better.
The cheese sticks here are awesome, I order the jalapeno bacon ones and they were off the chain prob better than Dominos cheesy bread and cheesier. Since it's made like a calzone
The pizza I had was okay I had the locallite I wasn't superrr impressed with that combo but I definitely didn't think it was nasty or bad. Will definitely go back to try another
*Also for those who are meat lovers DO NOT expect a fully loaded meat pizza the meat additions are kind of light. Even the andouille sausage on mine isn't like a whole chunk more like a thin slice like pepperoni not going to knock no stars for that bc it's not a bad thing.
Staffs was fairly friendly here although busy as...
Read moreVisited Lit Pizza today with a few coworkers on a HOUR lunch break, when we walked in there was a line but it seemed to be moving so we made the decision to stay and order. When I get to the station for sauce choice, the shift manager (very young girl) decides that, in the middle of me ordering, she is going to do a uniform check on the employee assisting with making my pizza. Mind you its lunch time and they have a rush of people in the restaurant waiting on their pizza to be made and she thought this was the BEST time to do uniform checks!!!! I made a comment like I have only an hour for lunch can she finish topping the pizza? The manager looked at me and just proceeded to make her way to stand behind the staff as they were struggling on the line to make pizzas. Instead of worrying about how short an employees shorts are how about stepping in and helping with pizzas. On a side note her shorts were not particularly short and also she had an apron on to cover her bottoms. The pizza overall was delicious, but there needs to be two ovens, the oven got so backed up and people were waiting for a almost 30 mins for one pizza...
Read moreA strong 4-star contender for affordable lunch or dinner. Probably the best possible fast-casual pizza (particularly the crust) around. Price is respectable and ingredients are usually very fresh. I've had most of the predesigned menu pizzas and they're all good, but the real gem is being able to build your own with the sea of ingredients offered.
Not without its issues, though: the space can barely keep up with the demand - I've been inside before when it was slammed busy, and there was a huge line of pizzas because the pizza oven doesn't fit much at once.
When they're built with care, the pizzas are worth waiting for, but if it's packed and the staff is hurried, you might end up needing to ask for additional toppings, and even then your pizza may not be stellar.
Still, I've never had an inedible meal from this place, so we have returned again and again. I'd mostly recommend to-go and/or building your own pizza the most as the inside is often full...
