Our family normally has a pleasant experience here but more recently we did not. They may have been short handed and had a dishwasher taking orders. The dishwasher should never be allowed around customers again.
My husband ordered a chocolate banana shake. She came and ask my husband what should she put chocolate or regular milk in the milkshake. My husband stated he didn't know whatever they normally put in it would be fine. She then said, "well I'm just a dishwasher and I don't know so there's that." As she rolled her eyes and walked away. We then asked her was everything ok and she said, "yeah but I'm a dishwasher so I don't know how to do it.".
To top this pleasant evening off our food was not made until an hour after we arrived. My husband came out...... 15 minutes later my sons came out..... still waiting on mine....we finally stopped the waitress and asked her why other items and tables were being served but not ours? She said she didn't know. Finally my good was received after my husband and son were fi hushed with their food. No apologies, just excuses.

Read moreI sat at the counter for over 10 minutes and never once was acknowledged or asked for my order. No coffee or drink offer. I actually pre-ordered my food and got there ten minutes early. I would have liked to sip a coffee while I waited, but no one acknowledged me in a timely fashion. Finally, after about 15 minutes, the guy cooking asked if someone helped me. But it’s everyone’s responsibility to take care of all customer’s even if they’re not in your section. The other guy working behind the counter carried on conversations with other customer’s who were seated at the counter, and passed me multiple times just like everyone else working. However, no one felt the need to ask if I wanted a cup of coffee. I will...
Read moreFood was good, Iced tea was a bit stale, but drinkable. Dots is usually a good place to go for comfort food and always open. It was slow, considering it was 630 Saturday evening, so there were tables available. I remembered them having more than one choice of dessert in previous visits to other locations. Thin and runny peach cobbler, with undercooked frozen pie crusts. The Vanilla ice cream on it was good. Chef salad was passable, a bit on the chunky side for the lettuce and such finely diced and shredded toppings that they really didn't contribute to the salad other than something to scoop up with the fork afterwards. Sweet potato fries were good, but the side order only had 4 actual ones on it, and 6 or 8 little pieces . Restaurant was clean and table was stocked and not sticky....
