Wow! What a wonderful and delicious surprise! The food and ambiance were perfect. We order the spaghetti and gemelli with meatballs and the homemade marinara sauce was PERFECTLY delectable! I recommend getting it "Dirty" (green pepper and onion minced and cooked into the sauce) and though my spaghetti was just fine, I REALLY preferred my wife's gemelli. The service was Blue Ribbon! We ordered the tiramisu to go and they, knowing we had to drive 75 miles, gently put it in a bag with a Ziploc bag of ice included. The ice and tiramisu made the trip. I thought I had died and gone to heaven with the first bite. Yes.... the food is made fresh and by the chef. The ambiance was perfect making you want to stay awhile with nostalgic Italian crooners\music softly playing in a dining area with original construction brick and a tin ornate ceiling. There is a small wicker basket of red and black checkers at each table. You can play checkers on the checkered tablecloth while you wait for your food. HOW COOL IS THAT! Wow! What a wonderful and delicious surprise! The food and ambiance were perfect. We were seated quickly, and our order was taken at our table in a timely manner. We ordered the spaghetti and gemelli with meatballs, and the homemade marinara sauce was perfectly delectable! I highly recommend trying it, and though my spaghetti was good, I really preferred my friend's gemelli.

The service was top-notch! We ordered the tiramisu to go, and knowing we had a long drive ahead, they thoughtfully packed it with a Ziploc bag of ice to keep it fresh. The tiramisu was absolutely heavenly, and the first bite felt like a little taste of paradise.

The atmosphere was fantastic, making you want to stay a while. The soft Italian crooners playing in the background, combined with the original brick and ornate tin ceiling, gave the place a nostalgic charm. Each table has a small wicker basket with red and black checkers, and you can play while waiting for your meal. How cool is that? It was such a fun touch.

Amazingly fresh pizza, well-topoed, homemade pizza sauce! Absolutely delicious. Exceptionally, friendly, great service, decorated beautifully, and clean as a whistle. The homemade dessert was outstanding as well. We talked with another young couple who indicated it was their favorite restaurant! They had red wine pot roast and the shrimp and garlic penne! Awesome atmosphere. We visited with the owner and his wife and they are very genuine and down-to-earth folks. This is not a chain restaurant, but a true independent Italian owner!
