This is my hometown family’s favorite special place that always creates memorable dinner moments, Thank you! The location is great with a huge parking lot for RV’s.
Our server Lille is amazing! I request for her to serve us each time. She remembers my husband and I each time we Dine-In or order To-Go. She treats us with the highest level of respect, Xièxiè. The chef’s skills are exquisite, what a culinary honor to dine here, “Oishii”.
I have visited this restaurant many times throughout the years. I enjoy toasting hot Sake to start my evening. The hot Sake pairs well with edamame. My nephew is keen on the unique flavors in Pork Gyoza. Though any time I invite my close friends, I treat them to a hot Mango Spider appetizer. If we dine with our parents, they prefer a cold appetizer, Raw tuna and truffle White Tuna. The caviar truffle oil just makes you want more. The top picked appetizer that my family loves would have to be the Rock N’ Shrimp, A+.
OK, I tempt you to try the House Special Soup. If you are sick this will heal you (Broccoli, Carrot, Shrimp, Scallops, Mussels).
Our entrées really moved me last night. My main craving is sushi! It is clean, fresh, and neat to eat. This location for one order of sushi is two pieces. Sushi is most of the time raw fish with a small touch wasabi then placed on rice ball. I have tried many different sushi rolls. In this order my favorite fish are White Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Yellowtail, Tuna, Scallop, Red Clam. Then, my preferred special rolls in this order are Crazy Lobster Roll, TNT Roll, Hawaii Roll, Super Scallop Roll, Pinky Roll, Fantastic Roll, Fancy Roll. My husband favors the Filet mignon and scallop hibachi. The smile on his face is all I need to know this is his favorite dish in town. The scallop texture and steak seasonings make a perfect pair each time.
The desserts have such a pleasant after taste. I love Mango Mochi Ice-Cream and here it is served at the perfect temperature. Also, the cake was tender and sweet.
My on wish is to visit again to try the Japanese Noodle dishes.
I encourage you to look...
Read moreWe tried this place for the first time. The person working the front was nice and greeted and sat us quickly. We were given drinks and our order taken. We ordered the Boat for Two for $64.95, it came with soup and salad. The soup was good, the salads were drenched in so much dressing even though I had asked for dressing on the side, and had to send mine back. I asked the server about the boat extensively and was told it was a large boat with several servings of sushi and sashimi and 3 rolls, all chefs choice but a good selection. What we were served was correct in part, the sushi and sashimi were good except for one unidentified serving that even the server could not identify for us. As for THREE rolls, yes we received three but TWO of them were the exact same roll! Both Eel, which I had told the server we did not like eel! Yuck!!! I tried one piece and it was awful and very fishy tasting, it even smelled fishy! We both felt like they had eel they were just trying to get rid of before it went bad. So basically we had ONE roll we could eat. The service was extremely SLOW. The girl was very nice but not very good at her job. She was NOT knowledgeable about the menu at all. We asked for plates to use to put our portions on and had to get up and get them ourselves. They weren’t that busy so this should not have been an issue. At this point my husband was done and not willing to give them another try, I was still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe believe they had an off night . However the next day we were BOTH sick with upset stomach’s. We are both...
Read moreEnjoyed both experiences I’ve had here. Have been in for lunch and dinner. They have quite a few choices for their lunch specials including hand roll combos, sushi or sashimi, bento boxes, hibachi and others. They have an extensive dinner menu as well. For lunch I had the two hand roll (Philadelphia roll and spicy yellow tail) and side order (2 pan fried dumplings) special and my SO had the chicken yaki soba. Both were excellent choices. Really enjoyed the flavor of his soup. When I went for dinner we had the sashimi appetizer, jalapeño bombs and vegetable tempura. The jalapeño bombs were very tasty and not too spicy. The sashimi was decent sized portions and the plating was very pretty. For dinner we had the Amazing salmon roll, fantastic roll, pinky roll, rainbow naruto maki, and the TNT roll. All were delicious in their own way. Our server was very attentive and was excellent with keeping up with our numerous drink orders. She was very friendly and helpful with suggestions when asked for her opinion. I’m so happy we have a Japanese restaurant in Moss Bluff now. Will...
