I never had a muffeltta til today and it was scrumptious. The olive salad in it will tickle your tastebuds without overwhelming them the bread fresh as it gets. The meat and cheese are nicely balanced. Having it baked gives it a nice mixture of melted cheese without the cold cut sandwich feeling that really brings it all together. The cafe is like a best kept secret, simple looking yet packed with eats and a very southerly new orleans hospitality. This place is incompetent. I’ve had a very simple order of a Caesar Salad with bacon and an extra dressing for three days in a row now. They did not put the bacon I requested they also did not give me the extra dressing I requested the first day. So I called the second day, to order the same thing once again it was made improperly so I spoke with the owner he assured me that it would be on the house tomorrow and that he would make it properly. The third day imagine this the salad arrived with no bacon once again and only one dressing. I tried to call and speak with the owner once again but he was to busy to take my call.
