Wow! I’ve been coming to New Orleans and staying in Holy Cross for several years and just tried this place! I’ll be back! My morning walks usually take me towards ByWater and the French Quarter, but this morning I headed in the opposite direction. The change in the routine was a wonderful experience. This place feels like home with it’s laid back vibe, and warm atmosphere. It feels real - if that makes any sense. The cappuccino was delicious as was the chocolate chip cookie. The service was friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for things a little more authentic, then a visit here is in order.

I make it a point to try a new coffee shop every time I visit New Orleans. Since The Coffee House was completely out of my way I used DoorDash and let me tell you it was COMPLETELY worth the wait. Top notch espresso, really hits the spot after a late night in The French Quarter!

Stopped by this coffee place on my visit to Nola. I got an iced French vanilla chai latte w/oatmilk and a brownie. By far the best iced Chai latte I've gotten since I've been in LA. Excellent customer service

Coffee is awesome, I can say that it almost beats Starbucks for my taste. Just a little experience that I want to share and why I would not give 5 stars. I went in on a Monday morning about 10 min before opening since doors were unlocked, I tried and went it and one nice girl welcomed me and attended me with no problem, I wish I knew her name, thank you for that, you made my day! Then on a Friday that same week I went in for a nice cold iced coffee again, without even having a chance to think, I basically got "kicked" out, i didnt even get greeted with at least a "goodmorning". Maybe not the nicest way to say it and maybe the person didn't mean it that way but I was told to wait because you guys open at 6AM, I just left because I couldn't wait that long, I was heading to work. I honestly left with some sort of sadness and bitterness. Why one day I was attended nice and with big smile and the same week I was rejected service? I don't want to blame anyone, I love y'alls coffee shop and this situation won't stop me from going, maybe just be careful next time on how to approach people in situations like this and maybe keeps doors locked until it's time to open. Thank you for making Arabi and Chalmette happy with ya'll...

I'm not one to typically give low reviews, I'm giving two stars because I hate giving one stars. But, I feel as if The Coffee House in Arabi has been gradually declining in quality. My SO and I typically get a Dirty Chai Latte and a regular Chai Latte both with either Almond Milk or Oat Milk. Our past 5 visits, one including today, our drinks tasted like 90% water, and 10% Coffee/Chai. We tried introducing my mother in law to The Coffee House Arabi tonight, but was met with the same conclusion, "Where's the Coffee? It's just mud water.". The past 5 times we've just dumped them in the sink, including my mother in laws, since they weren't that great. Wasted $23 (Including Tip) tonight.

We keep going back in hopes that it would be back to the way we remembered them, pre 2022, where their Coffee's and Chai's were flavorful and the best around. Now, I think we'll just take the extra 8 - 10 minute drive to the Starbucks up the road.

I do have to say though, their staff has always been amazing. Even when we enter the store, the staff welcomes you and also strikes a conversation with you. Many places, their staff will just do the bare minimum to get you in and out.

Pre-2022, hands...

I love this place, they have the best coffee in the parish, but the last two times I have come, they have forgotten my order. [ The first time, I had to completely tell them I don't think that you guys are making my drink(20 min. Wait), this time i saw someone that worked there notice me sitting there waiting and start scrambling to make it fast]This time there wasn't a line and the drive thru was slower. Maybe there is a new computer system for organizing what to make, but it's been disappointing the last two times that I have come for coffee. The coffee is good, the people that work there are nice, the ambience is alright... But that goes out the window when waiting around forever to get the order. Maybe they are prioritizing...
