Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Louisiana

I live in Marrero, La. just outside New Orleans. In the last two weeks, I have gotten my blood pressure raised twice by the same Sonic Drive-in. Last week I ordered four things, two burgers, cheddar peppers and onion rings. When I got home, only one burger was in the bag. I brought the order back and had to wait for the staff to make me an entire new order (by my demand) and no real apology for the error. Today I went to the same store and ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, a cherry cheesecake shake and cheddar peppers. The food was right but when I placed the order, I was told the price, $14.49. When the order was brought to my car, I was told a different price, $16.12. It was explained to me that there was a new girl taking orders and she made a mistake by misquoting the price and the price of $14.49 showed up on the order confirmation screen at the drive-in speaker. This is to let you know that I do not appreciate the treatment, either intentional or unintentional, that I got the last two times I visited this store. Needless to say, I will never go to Sonic again as a result of this. I just don't like getting angry and that's exactly what happens when I get bad service anywhere for anything. The store I am referring to is at 2506 Barataria Blvd. Marrero, La. 70072. I hold no ill will toward the place or the people there but your hiring or training practices need refining. That's about as nice as I can put into writing about my experience...

After 2 very long very difficult weeks of work, where I was unable to get time to go to the grocery, I stopped here at 9:45pm on a saturday and ordered what I thought was a very simple, chilli cheese hot dog, tots, and a lemonade. Ive been here several times before and the food is always on point. Tonight, the hot dog was handed to me, up and down so the chilli and cheese spilled all over the bag. The tots tasted extremely off, I dont even want to think that they may have been tampered with, with something that should not be put on food. And the lemonade tasted like straight syrup even through all of the ice. I am very exhausted, very hungry and extremely disappointed. I even tipped and I was very sweet to the person who took my order. I expected to have a safe place to order something that I could actually eat before passing out from the difficult work week I had. I would have rather not made this a public post, but there is no other options on...

I don't have any prior visits to compare to my experience tonight, but it could have been better. The service was nice and helpful, facility was clean, and our order was...mostly right.

The price that popped up on the pay screen was incorrect (too high), but that was corrected pretty easily. When we recieved our order we were missing Ranch for our peppers, and were told they were out. Ok, would have been nice to know while ordering, but not a dealbreaker. Dug into our bacon burgers, though, and we assumed they must be out of bacon as well, as neither burger had it. I would have mentioned it if our carhop had ever come back with the straw she said she'd get me, but it never happened.

To be fair, they seemed busy. Perhaps the manager needs to do a better job of communicating items they're out of, and ordering items before...
