WOW Café — Restaurant in Louisiana

I have not patronized this place in years and won’t be returning. I walked in, and the young ladies weren’t very welcoming. They looked me straight in the face and walked past me several times. Acknowledging a customer makes a difference. I stood at the counter for a while before anyone said anything. I was looking at the menu for catering for a bit, waiting for someone to greet me or give me the right menu. Finally, the mid-age waitress stopped what she was doing, handed me a menu, and said hello. I ordered, and the waitress placed the receipt on the counter. That threw her tip out the window. I usually tip well when the service is good, even if the person is taking my order and handing it to me. I try to leave a tip because I appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Not this time; I paid and left. Now let’s get to the food quality. I ordered strips tossed in Kansas City (BBQ) sauce. The strips were bland and lacked seasoning. It tasted like they covered the strips in flour and then threw it in the sauce. I am serious; no seasoning was added to the chicken or the batter. By far the worst service that I've ever had. For starters i ordered cheese fries and a Mardi margarita. They don't tell you on the menu that the margarita is only 4 ounces and a mason jar full of ice. So after drinking my first 4 ounces margarita i ask the waitress for a margarita in a normal larger cup she says okay let me go find out which ones come in that glass. She comes back and tells me only the blue margarita comes in the large cup as im looking at a couple across the restaurant frim me with a regular margarita in a LARGE CUP. So i make the mistake of taking the waitresses recommendation anf get the blue one. Well did i make a big mistake talk about the most disgusting concoction of alcohol I've ever tasted in my life. Long story short the lady manager refused to refund me my 10 bucks for this swamp water she had decided to serve me anf also refused to offer me another drink. Wednesday is 50 cent wing night: 4 people total in restaurant. Was seated at 5:30pm and ordered round 1 of wings (boneless) and fried mushrooms. Took 10 minutes for 6 wings (chunks about the size of quarters) & mushrooms. Not exactly filling, but tastes good & food was piping hot. 5:50pm ordered my second round of wings. 6:10pm Waitress came by and said they should be out any minute. Walked to register and paid for what I consumed at 6:25pm. Did not pay for second round that NEVER came after almost a half hour of waiting. Never going back again. This is the second time I got burned by WOW. Their delivery took an hour and 15 minutes one day a few weeks ago (at non peak time). If you offer 50 cents wings every Wednesday and you know it gets busy, you should prep for business. It did get busy around 6:10pm, but was still dead when...
