Chili cheese hamburger fully dressed made from real fresh ground beef not the preshaped frozen patties can taste the difference. Pickles are thick and crisp lettuce crisp, chili was ok but the whole combo together made for an enjoyable meal. The Cajun fries were fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside with the salty and spice to complement it well. Date had fried cod she thought the red vinegar wasn't tart enough and the onion rings lacked flavor should switch to beer battered ones. Salad with diced onions tomatoes in a small salad bowl wasn't appealing or to rave about. The decor she did a fantastic job with a lot of accents that are difinitive of our Louisville sub culture, pics of early mid 1990's movie stars hmmm seemed out of place it didn't need it maybe keep the one of Marilyn Monroe and add a fee more unique Louisville sayings or quotes from super star divas singers actresses that are sassy and timeless. Need to fix whatever is causing the place to pressurize with air inside of it, feels like their using an evaporative cooler and don't have a window open to let the air flow properly so it's hard to open the front door, an older couple nearly walked away thinking the place was closed despite being full with customers dining because they didn't have the strength to open the door. And when they open the front or back door it creates a suction or pressure the same as driving your quad cab truck with the front windows down but not the back going over 55 mph. Had to constantly pop my ears. That was distracting. Plenty of parking got some ruts in the gravel on the two far ends if driving a car or motorcycle pull in om the concrete pad side to avoid bottoming out. Hey can't go wrong with the burgers and fries it slaps for real plus makes for a cute place to go on a date. Love the improvements on food and decor over the years will keep...

THANK YOU, THANK YOU. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ It's time that merchants should switch to applying the roughly 4% merchant's fee for the cost of card use to those who use cards and stop pricing the card useage fee into the price that cash customers pay. I support the fact that Christi's has done so with their new policy. On my $35 cash food bill this would otherwise come to about $1.40 charged to me as a cash customer. I was so thankful that I added it to my tip. I think all businesses should stop charging cash customers for card use even though they don't use cards.
Why should cash customers pay the higher price that card users do.?

Christi's has been doing perfectly fine without my 2 cents worth, but my experience with tonight's evening meal indicates a continued bright future for them. My dish, one that is difficult to get just right and not everybody's favorite, was delicious, tender, liver and onions. I ordered it with bacon strips, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and a side of regular cottage cheese but with pineapple chunks added off menu by my excellent server. I couldn't have been happier with my Monday at 4:00 dinner. Perhaps that's why the tables were about...
Read moreEating there has always been good. The food is awesome and always hot. They stay busy, never hurting for business. There's always a little part a person doesn't like in some places. And I only have one gripe but learnt to not go there when I want certain foods. For instance, I ordered a small salad, a little high for it, but the sad part is asking for a dressing. Charged me .50 for one of those little cups of dressing. Sadly enough if you want more dressing, because you are charged .50 more for each little cup. Their so small, so I had to ask for 2 more. I like my salad wet! So there's $1.00 more. God knows I want to bring my own dressing from home. That goes for all little extras you order, whether it be on a sandwich, soup, salad, or whatever you like a sauce or spread on. I'm talking about adding cheese, onions, things like that, that doesn't already come on a item you order. I understand the cheese, but not onions or things that are so cheap to buy anyway, and you don't use much of them anyways. It's just like nickel and diming a person to death. But they do great business, and people don't mind that and keep coming back. Because the food is good and there's not many restaurants down in that area, much less left on...
