I wanted to like this place and thought we would based on the reviews. The pizza was just okay. We were confused because it's "Derby City" but the signs say Fairdale Pizza. The service was really lacking. Our waitress Ashley was pretty absent. We had to call her over for anything we needed and they weren't packed. My husband ordered and then thought he might like thick crust. She said they had already started it and couldn't change it but the pizza came out way later. We were told it went out to another table but...still didn't change it? They got the other pizza wrong and had to remake it, it still came back out before the other pizza.They gave us 10% off and excuses for the service, pizza taking forever. We'll try another location but won't be back to this one. Poor service and okay food aren't really worth...

So....let me say that my friend and i and career waitresses. We went in for lunch. The bartender tried to give us a salad which we didnt order....which is fine but our sub didnt arrive for another 5 min. No explaination. I ate my pizza....on the bar on a paper towel ....no plate. No parm/salt/pepper/red pepper flakes were offered so i got them myself. One server and bartender for a small amount of guests so not that they were busy and she had time to eat her pizza next to the cash register. My drink went empty and we sat for 10-15 min (since not once we were asked how was it or did we need anything) waiting for boxes and a check. She did not deserve the 20%tip we left at all.....being career waitresses typically we tip way more. Pizza was decient. Way...
