This restaurant has an authentic and great atmosphere, it's too bad the service is horrible. Been here a handful of times while in town and it's the same every time. Nobody greets you when you walk in, they keep on doing what they're doing for several minutes until a waitress finally seats you without a "welcome" or "hello". Food is ok, not top quality but tastes good except you should expect to wait 40 mins+ for your food. Thank goodness they offer the biggest basket of chips w/ salsa from the start. They won't ask you if everything is ok once you've received your food, but they'll be sure to keep your alcoholic drink filled until they hand you the check. There is so much room for improvement in service with this...

How this place has nearly a 5-star average is beyond me. Whatever they put in their “Texas Margaritas” isn’t what goes in a margarita. There was no alcohol: there should have been white tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave. Whatever was in that thing that made it a weird creamy color was nasty. Thank goodness they couldn’t screw up a bottled beer.

Ground beef wasn’t fully cooked. Chips were warm but incredibly stale. Red sauce bottles on the table were so caked in sauce around the neck that I’m sure a health inspector would have vomited. Was kicked out because we found a bug in our pitcher. We did not drink anything from the pitcher and asked for a new one ( willing to pay) . We were told we were not getting another pitcher and our ticket was thrown on the table basically telling us to leave. I asked him could he run the camera that was right above us to prove that we didn’t tamper with the drink and he just walked off. I also asked why was I charged an extra dollar because I haven’t been there in years( home for the week ) and was told “ you come here every day! you know the credit card policy! “.
