Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Louisville

I love to cook. I also used to love Lee"s. This location has very poor customer service. This night my wife said "How about Lee's?" My order was 1. wrong and 2. not fresh. An 8 piece meal at $30 Plus... I understand prices are up. The next day with receipt in hand off I go. You can not walk in the store, so I walked up to the drive thru, no one was in line at this point. After trying to explain to the helper that could not help, she got the manager. "NO REFUNDS is the policy". OK I say,, They said they would replace the order. I was told I will be in the book and use the date and name. I had to scurry away as guy in a car started yelling at me, I can't help but think how would he feel giving up his money for no lunch!!! Upon my return 15 days later to have the order replaced I was told "your not in the book, What was wrong with your order, I will call the manager....." I am certain no one was called, "the manager said not to replace it, you can come see her Monday morning" the helper tells me. The helper was very rude and shut me down. I ask if we can call the the manager, "NO... " In short this is the worst Lee's.. It seems to me, if they get the money, I should get the food. They are in short thieves in my book. I will never go back to this location. looks like a lot of bad reviews?????? In short 2 nights I could have cooked, but Lee's ruined my nights... We are all told "we can not get anyone to work", this is true, but if they are not paying for labor then the price perhaps should go down. And i think Lee's in general is one of the best chicken...

They totally botched my order. I ordered a 15 peice spicy chicken with 2 sides of mashed potatoes, a side of corn on the cob and potato wedges and a small order of gizzard and livers and an additional 1/2 dozen biscuits and a lg diet Pepsi. This is what I paid for $58.10.

What they decided to give me was a 12 peice regular order with 3 sides. Green Beans and baked beans. I did get the potatoes wedges and the large Diet Pepsi. Total cost with taxes $45.17.

I called the Lee's Chicken at 5059 Poplar Level Rd, Louisville, KY 40219. The gentleman that answered the phone wanted me to bring the order back but I live 30 minutes away so he offered to put my name in a book and they would replace the meal next time I was there which was OK with me. The manager insisted I bring the food back for an exchange or it was my problem not there's. I ask to speak with the manager, she had time to middle to decide what Lee's Chicken couldn't do for me but not enough time to take my call.

Lee's chicken over charged me $12.93 for food I didn't want and wanted me to take an hour out of my day after spending more than an hour getting the food the first time to correct there mistake.

Lesson learned from now on Im going to double check my order at the window before I drive off because the lack of people in the restaurant business to get order's correct is in a serious decline and the management...

Lee's Chicken is not a good place to go it took them over a half an hour to fix my food and they tried to give me something else and it was partially done it was not all the way cooked well the chicken was partially raw the store was clean the cook had a nasty attitude she just act like she just didn't want to work she complained about being there all day there was a line of people I was the first person in the store and the last person to leave it took them a half an hour to get me some fresh food the first time they brought my food out it was cold fries with cold this system manager tried to make it right but I felt like I was being ignored there was just so much about Lee's Chicken that I would never go back there ever again it is a bad place to go eat the customer service there was just so horrible it wasn't good that cook and the other servers were trying to get things done but I ended up being forgotten and I was the very first person they're the only person that showed any concern was the young girl cashier and she apologized but I just don't think that it's a good place to go eat I don't think that it's got good customer service I would never go back there ever again that was my first time there and they experience there and was just horrific and terrible...
