The salsa & chips was so fresh and flavorful. My lunch order of quesabirria tacos and a pineapple Jarritos hit. the. spot. The birria was scrumptious- the most tender and juicy beef nestled in warm gooey cheese encased in a crispy surprisingly sturdy taco shell. And then the consomme. Oh yummy beef broth, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways... If ever a physical and financial possibility, I'd have a bathtub-sized order delivered to my home to which, in the privacy of, I could soak my old bones in, as I'm sure it has some kind of medicinal healing properties, at least of my soul, before removing my own marinated meats (GROSS) and sucking down that warm magical probably still sanitary(ish) beefy broth with the biggest-yet-least-daunting crazy (the craziest) straw.
I drank my individual consomme bowl dry, practically licking it clean, and I wanted MORE. I consumed it, and it consumed my thoughts 😍
The service was fantastic, the atmosphere enjoyable. They had a TV up above the bar that was playing mariachi music videos. I didn't really comprehend what they were singing about, but I couldn't take my eyes off what I was seeing, and now I really want an accordion.
I don't know if you've ever had a pineapple Jarritos, but it deserves to be an internationally appreciated beverage. So crisp and refreshing. Ahh reminiscing to a time I didn't exist where all carbonated beverages presented in fun glass bottles.
Only visited once so far, but please consider me a super fan. If Veronica's had an apartment space above it, I'd sell my house and gladly rent, just to eliminate the distance between me and that birria (but in a non-creepy way). And my upstairs apartment and whole existence would be scented by yummy roasted beef smells emanating from Veronica's kitchen. My dog would either be in heaven or driven mad by the unending aromatic lure of phantom beef. She wouldn't understand....

The portions are huge. The food is hot. The servings are huge. The flavor is authentic. They have so many varieties of traditional. Mexican food with their own twist plus they stayed open past their closing time and did not rush the patrons with their meal, which is very honorable in business. Nowadays, me and my gentleman will definitely be frequenting this establishment again our dining experience. Was top tier. You will not be disappointed and do not let the area discourage you. It's definitely a hidden gem! The workers are also very happy and pleasant and very personable. I even heard them singing with the music. As they were making drinks and taking out the food to the patrons. You will not be disappointed and on Sundays. Get there right when they open. Or you will be in for a long wait. Don't let the wait discourage you though. We had to wait for about 20 minutes that it was so lively. It goes by fast I and do outweigh it weight long for your food. Once you're seated, you can also order at the bar. Why you're waiting to be seated? So when you get to your seat, your food can...
