Local beer, local food, LOCAL GREATNESS! From the moment I walked into UnHitched, I knew I was in for one hell of a treat. I was greeted by friendly staff and delicious smelling food. After being seated, I quickly realized this place has something for EVERYONE! The selection of craft beer was impressive- darks, lights, and everything in-between. You don't like beer? No problem! They have an amazing selection of cocktails that accommodate everyone. Now let's talk food. I will say hands down this is my new favorite place to eat. Everything on the menu was so thoughtfully and skillfully crafted to perfection with locally sourced ingredients. I was lucky enough to try a verity of dishes from pickled deviled eggs with aioli to the most mouth watering homemade pita and farmers cheese. This is what traditional bar food wants to so desperately be. All your cravings will be met and satisfied after/ during a few brews without feeling the guilt. I spoke with the chef briefly, and from my conversation, I quickly realized how much heart and effort that went into the selection of beverages and food. This place is...

Went here last night and I wanted to keep an open mind and give this place a shot but it’s nothing to write home about. First off the location isn’t great I mean you need to know Louisville to know where it is located at. Most people aren’t going to Louisville in general. Also there seemed to be little children around and I don’t think a brewery is the place for kids. I ordered a old fashion and it was kind of half made which wasn’t the bartenders fault it’s just how the make them here. The sound seemed to echo inside as well which isn’t a deal breaker but just something I noticed. I also got the feeling that the feel inside was of trying to be an upscale place which I don’t agree with. I liked the side room with the games and the bar seating. I feel like the kitchen could have been less open but it’s a different layout. It is nice for Louisville to have something which has been a long time coming. I would like to see them do well but I think we will see with time how busy the...

Glad we finally made it to Unhitched. The place looks absolutly phenomenal. You can tell they put so much thought and effort into the layout and design. Its also nice to see them re-purpose and use as much local building material as possible. The food quality and quantity is defiantly way above average, but we all felt that it's priced a bit high for bar food. I had the Cuban and it was delicious. The fries were very good, but a bit on the salty side for my taste. The beer is also very good. Our first visit was more for the food but couldn't resist ordering a flight. There wasnt a single beer I didnt like. The juicy IPA was my favorite. Im glad Louisville is finally getting with the times and Im sure this place is going to do well. My only real gripe is the prices for food and beer is a bit on the high side. 2 adult meals, a kids meal, and a flight of beer was over...

Visited for the first time on Saturday, had a hot juicy double burger that was just the ticket after a long day of hard work. To accompany the food, I chose a beer called Guidestone which was an appropriate companion to my dinner. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, and we agreed to make it a regular spot on our rotation. Not sure our vegan friends will join us, there doesn't seem to be anything other than a $12 (!!!!) pretzel for them. Note to mgmt., the fries were all very dark brown for all of us, and I seemed to get more than half that were the stubby little ends from the bottom of the basket. On the plus side, the ramekin of sauce to dip our fries in was delicious. We'd asked if there was honey mustard, which there was not, and the server suggested and brought whatever that delicious sauce was.

This place has been recommended to me from a few different people. We were excited to try it out. The building is cool and the restaurant inside was set up very nicely. We sat at the bar and our service was average. For a starter we got the special Birria fries and they definitely lacked flavor. Next up was the smashburger and confit wings with garlic buffalo sauce. Again, the flavor just wasn’t there. I was really hoping for something more. Everything was so close to being very good, just missing something. I honestly feel like if things were simplified instead of throwing so many ingredients at the food it would go along way. With that said, we will give them another shot as their menu does appear to change often.
