Rodeo's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lovettsville

The food is very good, but the customer service and attitude of some of the servers is horrible! My first time was good so I had told others they should try it. The second time was very frustrating. I ordered a shrimp & rice entree, but received a wrong order. got something entirely different. When I told the server-he said he could put a couple of shrimp on top-I told him I wanted what I ordered-and then he returned with wrong one (again) with a few shrimp on top! I told him it was still wrong, ate the few shrimp only, and paid the bill. Tonight, I thought I would give them a second chance, and ordered 3 entrees over the phone, and my husband went to pick it up (as it was our 34th anniversary & he had to work all day). When he came home, there were only 2 entrees in the bag-for my son & husband-and my order was missing. I had repeated the order to the man who took my order, and he repeated it back to me correctly. Thinking they had just forgot to put the order in the bag, I called and the man I spoke with said there was no record of a 3rd entree in my order! I told he that I had confirmed this order during my first call. When I asked him what he was going to do about their mistake, he told me "nothing"; he said they didn't charge me for it, and said "we don't do that" when asked if they would deliver it. It's unfortunate that the customer service does NOT equal the food quality; with two bad and frustrating experiences, I doubt if I will ever return and will advise friends and family to...

My dad, nephew and I just finished eating here. The food is pretty good. I got the carne asada. There was nothing really special about it. You can get the same thing here or down the street really. The salsa and chips were on point though.

Maybe it was just today but the place was packed and everyone at the table behind us was drunker then skunks on margaritas. Apparently they don’t cut people off. The place was so loud I could hardly hear myself think.

Our server checked on us a total of two times during our hour long experience with the drunks from down the street. She also forgot our second round of salsa we had asked for and didn’t offer to refill our drinks ever.

I was there yesterday with 6 others,it was our 1st time eating here,1st of all that salsa was the best I ever had from any restaurant! Everyone loved their food and top notch service! I highly recommend this place for all you Mexican food lovers! I even asked if I could buy a pint of that salsa and I sure did! If anyone had Daddy G crafted salsa from a brewery or winery this taste almost the same! If I were you I would be selling it in plastic containers and put it in a glass refrigerator door show case,that stuff is so addictive!
