Let’s just say that the men and women who run this establishment should be given an award for how amazing they are. There’s not a day that I don’t want to be at this place. I’ve been to many classy establishments in the AK Valley and I rarely adventure off of the Mountains of New Kensington, but when I do, I go to Aroundback Cafe. Not only are they conveniently located in the flats of the valley, but their name speaks for where they’re located...Aroundback of the mountains! I’m an avid wing devourer and the recently updated menu is absolute bliss! The Honey Siracha Ranch wings are a treat for everyone from a new born baby to a person who is on their death bed. I just went there with there with my wife and friends of ours. At first I was put off by the wooden box that is the entrance it needs to have some sort of sign or markings and if they want the door kept closed they should install a closer and not depend on customers making sure a door that doesnt close properly stays shut. Now after saying that I will say we sat down and ordered an appetizer sampler platter that came out that was amazing and was worth great value and great taste. Then the entrees came and I had an amazing french dip on the best bun I have had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. So like the famous saying goes dont judge a book by its cover. First time visit. Was very surprised. Not on the main road....it's name is also the direction you need to go to find the entrance. Once parked you will see an outdoor seating area great for watching sporting events on the wall mounted TV's. Inside is a well lit bar and dining area with tables and booths. The menu is very well rounded something for everyone. Don't worry the options only encourage you to come again and try something else. The place was crowded so the service could of been faster. However, with food this good the wait is tollerable. I recommend the wings. They were done crispy and hot. I also saw that the salads were very generous.
