Well Crafted Ambler Brewery and Beer Garden — Restaurant in Lower Gwynedd Township

I really wanted to love this place. The location, beer, and atmosphere are great, and it feels like a safe spot for kids with plenty of parking. Our table had been served well, and we had a wonderful time laughing and enjoying the live jazz music.

After our meal, my friend and I went to the counter to order more drinks. We were the only two people waiting, yet we were completely ignored as two separate groups who had just walked up were served before us. My friend and I exchanged confused glances and strategically moved closer to the register, thinking the server simply hadn't seen us. We even shared a laugh with a few people who were genuinely apologetic for cutting in line. Still, after serving them, the server looked right past us and called out over our heads, "Who's next in line?"

It was as if we were absolutely invisible. I frantically waved my arms and had to declare loudly, "We are!" She finally took notice and took our order. We tipped her and paid, but as we walked away, I couldn't help but reflect on what had just happened. My friend and I tried to continue having a good time, but the mood had been completely changed. In my mind, I couldn't rationalize what I had just experienced.

It wasn't until we were walking out that I finally noticed something I hadn't before: everyone was white. And that's when it hit me—my friend experiences this all the time.

The atmosphere was great for me, wide open with outdoor seating. I'd give the atmosphere a 5. No complaints about the beer either.

The service was awful. negative 5 stars for the service. I ordered my first beer at the bar, all was great. There was only 1 other customer in the entire establishment. The bartender walked past my table and I asked if I could order another beer. She said yes, if I come to the bar. I said ok, thought that was weird, but not concerning. Once at the bar, I ask if they can change the channel from the NBA channel to any baseball game. (Its august). The bartender says "no, you have a phone right? Stream what you want to watch, that's what I do." Wow, ok, bad day maybe, idk?

Since I was waiting for a first date to arrive, I actually stayed around after that and ordered from the Wagon BBQ food truck. Somehow the truck ran out of one of their 3 sandwich options (even though it was not crowded at all). The food was a 5 out of 10. The pulled pork was dry and flavorless. The sauce helped.

Conclusion: When i first got there I was excited... thinking I found a place that I would visit often, however, after experiencing the rudest service in my life, I can't spend more money there. ...
