TAQUERIA EL HABANERO — Restaurant in Ambler

I tried to give this place a chance as a new business but I will definitely have to take my business back to El Limon. The first time I came here all I wanted was a chicken quesadilla and it took over 30 mins to get. The second time I tried a shrimp quesadilla and the service was quick but the food was so bland and the shrimp was rubbery with no seasoning. The third and final time I ATTEMPTED to call in an order and they kept playing around on the phone as if they didn’t understand me and again all I wanted was one thing to order. I love giving small businesses/ new businesses a chance but when the quality and service is poor I can’t let that go. I hope they read this review and take into consideration what they need to do to provide better service for everyone.

Went there for lunch today, first time. Cute little place and almost no one in there, so the food arrived pretty fast. I ordered a chicken burrito. It was huge! Next time I will ask for the sauce on the side (they added a cheese / white sauce to the top of the burrito) as I prefer to pick up my burrito and eat with my hands like a sandwich versus knife and fork style. It also came with a small side salad, but again the burrito is really big, and probably is enough for two people to split depending on how hungry you are. It smelled so good I took a bite before I took the picture :) Very clean restaurant, friendly people, outside tables too. I recommend this place. Foods always good quality at affordable prices. Worked in Mexican restaurants in California and Fort Washington this is definitely an authentic Mexican taqueria. Favorites are the carnitas tacos, chicken haurache, Sopes, and the chicken chimichanga. Don’t understand how the reviewer Ashley couldn’t comprehend someone who speaks Spanish not understanding what she was trying to say, one look at her other reviews and you can see what a gem of a person she is.
