CD Pizza and House of Brews — Restaurant in Lower Paxton Township

Used to be a good place to eat. Not sure if they’re under new management or what. My family and I wanted a nice evening out and thought they’ve always had really good Pizza. So we go in and no greeting took 5 minutes to even be recognized. Then I was asked “what do you want?” Ummm...how about “how can I help you?” So we ordered. I ordered a slice of cheese, my two kids wanted a slice of Pepperoni each, and my Husband ordered a cheeseburger sub. It took over 20 minutes for any food to come out to us. They brought my Husbands cheeseburger sub 1st and so we had to watch him eat instead of eating together, they they brought our Pizza and here’s what set me off....the pizza was so greasy and rubbery that I could hardly eat it. Even my 12 year old Son (who will eat just about anything) said the pizza was flavorless. Oh and the pepperoni they used was so small the pieces looked like red peppers. My Husbands sub was the only thing that was alright. Oh and it was so cold in the seating area from people coming in and out that I left my winter jacket only to now have a grease stain on my sleeve from how greasy the pizza was. Came by to this pizza place about a month ago after a football game with a few friends, and we were greeted very disrespectfully. Half of my group went to find a table and the other half stayed by the register, a man who worked there then yelled to us that we cannot eat here unless all of us buy, which we responded with it being no problem because all of us did plan on buying. Then he continued to say we were not allowed to eat here unless accompanied by an adult, and a few of us said that were 18, but he specifically said after we had to be with someone who is 21. It might have been because they do serve beer, but it all contradicts the mans statement from the beginning. Keep in mind we were all black. By far the worst treatment I have received from any restaurant, it was a very humiliating experience. Some of us even had our little siblings with us and they too had to experience this. We all ended up leaving not buying any pizza because of the disrespect we received, if i could I would rate this...

Lost a bit of respect from them this evening. Completely understand places get orders mixed up, that happens. We called them out on it which we wouldnt normally do cause not everyone in our family would like what they sent, they said they were sorry and would send out the right order, all is well. Then had the nerve to call us back and ask if they can send a medium pie since they already sent the WRONG one. Come on now!!! We order from them every week! Then the replacement MEDIUM pie barely had any of the toppings we originally ordered it was a slap in the face. (A $35.00 slap in the face) Always love their service and delivery drivers but this was not right. Left me hungry on a sunday night since nobody in my family wanted the WRONG order they graciously let us keep. I guess at least the dogs...
