Walked in to this establishment with high hopes. Heard great thing about cinnamon rolls and sticky buns. There was a large amount of people coming in and out to do to go orders. Which i was hoping that the food was good. We were greeted by a sweet gentleman behind the counter. He was very friendly and attentive with our order. It came out to being just over twenty with some breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon rolls plus two drinks. We waited for our order when it was up we weren't told but luckily my friend was watching and we got it. Up to this point they had a 4 star rating with service and the price of the food. But than we got to the food and drink. I bit into my bacon sandwich had a nice crunch but was just super dry. Def need some kind of condiments on it. The raspberry tea wasn't bad at all had a ok flavor to it. Not overwhelming taste but just enough to know raspberry was there. Now to main attraction the roll. Put some frosting and cut it up. And shared it. Had a okay flavor at first but the more I ate it had a unnatural chemical taste to it. Threw some of it away. We got up to leave again the guy behind the counter kindly told us to have a nice day as we left. The customer service and thr prices are for sure the mvps of this establishment. The sandwich is basically an easy fix with some type of condiments. And the cinnamon roll maybe we just got old or just bad batch. Not sure. The tea wasn't bad. So if you want good service, cheap prices and semi good food this is place for you. I feel like this may not be the place for us. Wish them best and say if your in try and see if its...
Read moreThese are hands down the best - and the most appropriate for gift giving, housewarming, or bring-a-dessert giving. Don’t balk at the price tag. When you bring a ½ dozen of these to someone, as I did this past weekend, you’ll know you hit a home run. Even the box says, “You won’t believe what’s in here.” These cinnamon rolls are so dense and doughy, they need the very thoughtful, high quality box Mr. Sticky invested in. These are the best cinnamon rolls because they do not need to be bathed in sweetened cream cheese. What you get is cinnamon, brown sugar and plenty of butter. It’s what you taste in that order when you take a bite. What is your time worth? These are $23 worth of artfully and lovingly crafted flour, cinnamon, butter and brown sugar so why would you go to the trouble of baking your own? They are so soft and sort of “cakey,” but they have the body to hold onto all the brown sugar & buttery goodness. They stand tall on the plate and I defy anyone to eat a whole one. There’s your money’s worth. Be good to yourself. Be good to the people you share these with. Just try them and see. You’re worth Mr. Sticky’s. Don’t sell yourself short. Support a hands-on SMALL, local business. Wherever you are, they’re worth the trip. Absolutely no cream cheese is necessary. These are a 10. The staff are extremely friendly and they open at 6 a.m. Trouble with the app has nothing to do with the quality of these...
Read moreIf you keep in mind the store is called Mr. Sticky and stick to the sticky buns cinnamon rolls and coffee you will enjoy it. The eclairs on two separate occasions were beyond stale (hard, dry and crusty pastry shell but the pastry cream inside was perfection). I was dissapointed that the cashier didn't suggest another option the second they felt how rock hard the eclair was when putting it into the container for me. Stay away from anything in the display fridge unless you intend to just make a donation without a fresh tasty treat for your efforts. Stick to the specialties (sticky buns, cinnamon rolls) and your experience and tastebuds will thank you. 5 out of 5 for the sticky buns alone, but a 3 over all with everything considered. The wow factor of walking in the shop and seeing bonus treat options beyond the cinnamon rolls and sticky buns gets lost when those other treats are sub par. I will return for the cofee and sticky buns and yummy cinnamon...
