No 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Lower Pottsgrove Township

I love coming here for dinner with a girlfriend. We split 2 meals and have more than enough to share plus another meal or two. They make the best sweet and sour sauce to go on the sweet and sour chicken. Plus they will steam the vegetables for me with no brown sauce because I don't like it. They give me extra sweet and sour. Fortunately I have several girlfriends that will eat the same thing I do. My husband doesn't care for Asian food so I'm thankful when I can find someone to join me. This restaurant was recommended to me when I moved here 8 years ago and I've been coming ever since. I’m very disappointed with the service at number one China. I placed an order for takeout and discovered after we got home that the order was wrong. When I called the restaurant they said to bring back the wrong item and they would replace it with what I ordered. They actually made me return the food that I already had brought home and opened! They gave me back a few dollars, but only the difference between what I ordered and what they charged me for. Nothing to compensate for the inconvenience of messing up my order. Take out is for convenience sake, and it is not more convenient when you have to drive there twice. You would think they would not charge for the item they got wrong. When I first walked into the place I couldn’t pinpoint the chemically smell. There was plastic hanging across the whole front counter Except for a little spot for you to order and pay. Also another long Piece of plastic hanging blocking off the bathroom hallway. with a sign that said bathroom closed. Against my better judgment I ordered General Tsao’s chicken which came with rice and an egg roll. Within 10 minutes my food was ready to be picked up.
