Seemed to be about 4 or 5 people working there which should be adequate for a fast food restaurant, but they were probably new hires as they didn’t seem to quite have it together. Ordered inside for to-go food bc I needed to use the restroom. All fried stuff (burger, fries) and drinks came out quick but waited for almost 15 minutes for a salad (the final item I was waiting for). There were not that many people in the restaurant and I was waiting at the counter by myself for a few minutes until a new customer (a large family) came up to order next. The folks after me ordered the same salad (also the last item they were waiting for) and when the first one finally came out the cashier put it on a tray to give it to them instead of me. I said, “I’m sorry but if that is a chicken pecan salad can you just put it in a bag to give to me?” The cashier, who was very sweet but seemingly confused said “I’m sorry hon he’s just finishing up your salad now” to which I said “I’m not trying to be difficult but if this is what I’m waiting on and I came in before these folks shouldn’t I get this salad first?” Even the people who were getting the salad said “yeah you should give it to her” and she became a bit flustered and said “I’m doing the best that I can”. 🤔 I’m not sure what’s so controversial or confusing about giving an item that is ready to the person who ordered it first. A salad for me did come out just a couple of minutes later so not a huge deal but just an odd and frustrating experience, as if the employees here are given no training about how to deliver the food and how to multitask when preparing various items. It seemed like the salads were put off for a long time or were forgotten. The most annoying thing was that they manager was walking around the restaurant with some kind of checklist or something during the whole time either oblivious or unconcerned about how slowly and inefficiently this food was being made/delivered. Any competent fast-food manager would put their papers aside and jump into making some food if things were getting backed up. I wouldn’t...

However the management seems problematic. A lot of delegating going on, but no doing. At any point the manager could have stepped in and helped any of her staff and moved through their orders a little quicker, but she apparently felt it better to just ask for our patience and then stand with her arms folded looking at the poor girl she had running the front move around like a maniac to try and get literally anything done. The girl actually working was assembling orders, taking orders, organizing things for the online orders, and handling what looked like drive thru orders. The cooks were working as best they could, understaffed by the looks of it, and as I said the manager just standing with her arms crossed.
Delegation is important, but it isn't a crime to you know, actually do anything to help your staff. One guy in line walked out, the other one behind me was showing active frustration, but this lady held steadfast in her approach to not lift a finger.

Read moreKinda upset at Wendy’s on Eisenhower Boulevard. I had to woooash before this post, my 18 yr old adhd / autistic daughter applied for a job here, first time getting her foot in the door at a job, she took the time to fill out the application and all, got an interview which she was super happy to go to, for us to get their at 8:30am and the lady opens the door and tells her we’ll, I can do the interview but it be a waste of time because the general manager is not hiring anyone who is not 20yr old or older.🤬😡, umm so you looked at her application you knew her age and you then proceeded to book her an interview and time and then disappoint her. Over it, my daughter Asia came a long way. She didn’t care if she had to clean the floors or help set up, she good with orders, So this was a set back to her period. Plus to top it off my car was in an accident so I had to pay for an uber for her just to get their and back so completely a waste of money. Wendy’s you should be very proud...
