Gold Stripe Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Lubbock

This is my third time coming to this coffee shop (Slide location). I always order online and then drive through to pick up my order, always leaving a tip online. The website always gives about 5 mins to pickup ready for a cup of coffee and a breakfast item. Either a bagel or oatmeal cup (which is always halfway filled). The first time I went and got there about 5 mins after the order as instructed pulled up to the window as there were no other cars in line and had to wait. Second time i though well I will leave the house 5 mins after the order that way it should be ready (about a 2-3 min drive), again no cars in front of me pulled up to the window and had to wait as they were working on it. This last time I waited 10 mins after placing the order, left the house pulled up to the window as there were no cars(1:30pm ) and still was told they are working on it . So it seems it doesnt matter when the order is placed , they wont start working on your order until you pull up at the window which is inconvenient to say the least. This last order the coffee seemed to be more water than coffee, bagel was good, oatmeal cup was again half full. Great coffee! Tried their drip and an iced americano. Both were fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Not used to seeing an americano served on a rock, but was a nice touch and a unique experience. Espresso was nicely balanced with some chocolate and jammy notes. Nice blend!

Very large space, possibly for production purposes? The room to the left of the main cafe was very open. Just seemed a little awkward because it was somewhat empty. But, I am sure more is coming!

This shop also offers an array of brewing methods, which is fantastic to see. Lots of merchandise available & very cool to see that Gold Stripe is bringing exciting coffee tech to West Texas. You don’t often see Flair Espresso makers for sale in cafes! I was pleasantly surprised!

Took my wife on a breakfast date here around 9:30 on 12/16. We were warmly welcomed right as we walked through the door. The staff were very kind and friendly and extremely helpful. My wife ordered a sugar-free decaf iced latte, which she thought was delicious. I ordered the caffeinated hot lechera latte, which was rich and smooth, and not too sweet. It was simply lovely. But the best part of our experience was unexpectedly the everything bagel with loaded cream cheese. It was a little spicy, but the bacon and savory flavors on top of the soft but slightly crisp bagel were outstanding. My wife said she would try just a bite, but she ended up eating half of it!
