Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lubbock

If this virus isn't bringing out the best in us lol I do have to laugh about my order because I know it's really stressful for so many...I just can't be upset about my order but it's all messed up. Ordered a cheeseburger, extreme tots (chili, cheese, mustard, ranch, onions, & jalapenos) I got the light version apparently cuz only got watered down ranch, onion and lots of jalapenos. Lol but it's edible, my burger had all the veggies and cheese on one side (yes seriously) and ended up with an extra order of tots...and if my vanilla shake is anything like the last one (and so far it is) then it will be a good hour and a half before I can drink it with a straw, it's straight ice cream in a cup. But it's all edible and they're close and fairly fast so I'm getting food and that's what really counts to me right this minute. Good luck eating here and hope your visit will...

If jinxing is real, I did it. Tell me why I have now had 2 back to back bad experiences. 1st one, they forgot a food item and because I'd never had a bad experience at Sonic before, I didn't check my bag until I got home and of course I was starving, so not a good time. 2nd one, just stopped in during happy hour for an iced tea, nothing fancy. Then I realize it's been at least 10 minutes and I still don't have my iced tea. Clicked the red button again and explained the situation, said I understood they were probably really busy but I only ordered a drink and I've seen people with food ordered come and go that arrived after me. Both occurrences were at the same location so... That's all I'm saying. There's a bad Apple...

I love sonic I honestly do...but I had just recently come from ordering food from here and they messed up both orders...I had first ordered 3 chicken strip sandwiches and a medium tot...they gave me 2 sandwiches and a small tot....then I turned around and ordered 4 corndogs for my nephews and they only gave me 3 I have been trying to call them and let them know but no one is answering...talk about bad service and they need to listen to when the costumer is speaking...now one of my nephews is missing a corn dog and I'm missing a sandwich and the right size of tots that I ordered...they charged me for a medium gave me a small...they charged me for 3 only gave me 2....probably the last time I order food from this...
