Tropical Icy — Restaurant in Lubbock

I consider myself a snow cone connoisseur. There is none better than Tropical Icy. My son-in-law is a fire fighter at the station near here. He told me this was the best in town. That was and understatement…… this is the best snow cone EVER! The ice is the finest you’ll find anywhere. The flavors are deep and rich. My favorite is black cherry, but other family favorites are toasted marshmallow, banana, strawberry short cake, raspberry, and blue coconut. The added, don’t miss, special ingredient is CREAM! This is not normal cream. It seems to be mixture of marshmallow cream and sweetened condensed milk. It’s da bomb! We love this place and go as often as we can. Their hours are hit and miss, so we sometimes call ahead. The ladies working here are kind, helpful and enthusiastic. The price is right! This is a must do Lubbock thing! I highly recommend...

O.M.G!!! I hadn't had a snow cone in years!! For 1 I was pregnant last year & couldn't hv any sugars.... We drove from Dallas with my twin girls & 5 of my grandkids & had this on our bucket list!!! We had never had ice cream/ snow cone.... When I tell you this was a game changer! We are all addicted now....lol It's a must have!!! Service was so welcoming & professional! From now on we will b stopping here on everrrrrrry visit we mk to LUBBOCK...
