So much to see, a really great collection of all sorts of antiques related to life on a farm. From tractors to covered wagon, home, mercantile, mechanic, blacksmithing, cotton to even washing clothes while churning butter with a lamb 😉 Took three grandsons so it was controlled mayhem. 😂Need to go back and take individually for better one on one conversation. We really enjoyed ourselves, great interactives, simulated cow milking they enjoyed most, the hand water pump and driving the Combine simulator were hits. There is a Pullman Train Car tour but our alotted time together was up so next time😉 It was really cool to see the Lubbock skyline while having ice cream and listening to great music. Read moreWe were in Lubbock a couple of days this summer with our 4 children. We stopped by because this looked like something our sons would get a kick out of it. I honestly was not expecting a lot. We were very impressed the moment we walked through the door. What an amazing place. Everyone we met was so kind and informative. Red just made the entire visit great. Our kids (including teenage daughter) had a great time. There is a lot of interactive displays for kids and adults of all ages. We all learned a lot about and had a great time! What a great place! Displays were easy to read, yet filled with high-yield facts about the progress made over the years via science and mechanization. The only downside -- agriscience contributions by Bayer's major competitors, like Monsanto and Dow/Dupont were unmentioned.
