China Town Restaurant — Restaurant in Lucedale

If I could leave either negative or no stars and it still allow me to post, I would. I've been sick all day from eating something at this restaurant that was off and it was probably the food from the hot line that was cold. They were told about the cold food when we left but didn't act like they cared at all. The food was very bland and tasted like it was straight from the freezer or can. They had boiled shrimp but it barely had any seasoning, most of it stuck to the shell, and what did come out of the shell was mushy. They didn't have any crab legs or crawfish. Someone needs to teach them how to hold season, cook, and hold hot food properly and safely because it was just as bad the last time I went. The best tasting thing in the whole place was the corn nuggets and that's sad. I won't be going back again just to have the same awful food and I hope nobody else that ate there got sick too like I did. The booth seat in which I was placed had tape covering a hole in it. There was nothing positive about our dining experience and we won't be returning. I don't see this place staying open very long if they keep serving the same food and making people sick because someone is eventually going...

It was decent for being the ONLY Chinese restaurant in Lucedale but it does have a good location being in the middleof downtown. The buffet is small but carries all the usual fare. The fried rice looked good, but lacked flavor. The lo mein also looked good but again was kinda bland. It did have a mix of the older generation as well as children, so it maybe due to the sensitive palates of those folks that it does seem slightly lack the flavor you expect from other Chinese buffets. The hall to get to the rest rooms is not wheelchair friendly nor are the restrooms. All in all I would go back if I had no other choice...

So you try this restaurant there are not many options for Chinese food in Lucedale, Mississippi. Was hoping they had wonton soup unfortunately they did not. This restaurant offers a buffet, which I do have to say had many items on it even some kid, friendly dishes. Was very surprised that they did offer sushi on the buffet. There were many seafood dishes that were available. They have very good ice tea. Overall, the food and service was very good. The atmosphere for me left a little to be desired … But definitely if you were in the area and are looking for Chinese food, I would say give them...
