Ostioneria Mi Tierra — Restaurant in Lufkin

This Place Sucks! It has gone down hill horribly in the past 2 months! I first took my 87 Yr. Old Mother there about 2 months ago. We went back a week later and both times the food was great, and the service was fair. We have been back 2 more times in the past 6 weeks, most recent on October 6, 2021. The Food was horrible and the service was bad. The waitress we had the last 2 times was named Reyna. She can not get an order right to save her Life! I ordered the Chili Relleno special for $7.99, and a crispy Shredded Chicken Taco. She brings me a soft Chicken Taco. When I told her she made a mistake on the taco , she started arguing with me like it was my fault. I ask her bring me the right Taco, and when I started to eat it I found a chicken bone about (1&1/2") long in the Taco. I called her to our Table and gave her the chicken bone, she never said sorry or anything. I saw her walk back to the kitchen. My Mother ordered the #7, Chicken enchilada and a chicken Taco, she also found a chicken bone in her enchilada about the same size as the one I found. I again called Reyna to the table to show her the chicken bone. She again walked in to the kitchen without saying anything. My Chili Relleno was horrible, No salsa, or anything on it. The batter was mushy and tasteless. We ate about 1/3 the meal and decided to leave and went to pay the bill. I ask to speak to the Manager, and Reyna told me she just left. They either have a new Chef that does not know how to cook or they do not like Gringos coming in to there place of Buss. Reyna is the worst Wattress I have ever Had! I told her I am going to have to write a negative review and her response was " Go AHEAD " She could not Care Less. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Delicious! The best chicken fajita taco salad I've ever had. Fresh grilled chicken, perfectly fried salad shell (flakey and tender). Others in my group loved their tacos, refried beans, rice, the French fries, burger. Perfect sweet tea. Salsa was hotter than I'm used to, but it was still a great heat. Good food and service. Family of four ordered drinks and lunch. Service was spot on and food came quickly with only one mistake on one order. Wait stall responsive and helpful. Food more bland (less spicy) compared to some Mexican restaurants, but good flavor. Beans very bland and too much liquid, tamales barely warm and they were stingy with chili topping.
