Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Lumberton

I cannot for the life of me understand why this little Cesar’s is consistently so whack. I mean every single time. A nationwide chain that is known for having hot cheap pizzas ready always, this location never has anything ready… Ever! Even when people place orders ahead on the app, they are still waiting for a really long time… Sometimes over an hour. I understand busy nights happen, sure no problem. But it’s been a couple years now since we’ve lived here and they are always out of pizza. Nothing ever comes out on time, there is always a long line of people waiting for pizza (that SHOULD be so easy to get) and grumpy employees. they have raised their prices also so you might as well go to Papa Johns. You would think by now the owner or manager would do some serious revisions to how the operation runs. if you think you can just waltz in casually and grab lunch or dinner, you will be extremely disappointed. One time I even called to place an order on the phone, thinking that may help speed up the process.. and I kid you not the employee answered “thank you for calling Lumberton Little Caesars our current wait time is an hour and 45 minutes for a pizza order, can I help you?” I mean… Really? I would be so embarrassed if this was my constant output. This is just crazy! Issues in order just in case the owner sees:

1. never any pizza “hot and ready”
2. not enough preparation to make said pizza.
3. customers are always always always always waiting
4. a single pizza order on the app can take 45 minutes to an hour

Ordered a large deep dish, half cheese, half pepperoni. the cashier, Mathew, had no idea what we meant when we said “half pepperoni half just cheese” and thought we meant half cheese bread, so put “no sauce on half” on the receipt. When we realized, we went back in to correct it and he said it would be 10-15 mins. this was at 7:40. I waited inside and heard them arguing over my order in the back, and after waiting 10 mins another worker said they messed it up and put a new one in the oven. Then, 10 mins later, heard more arguing over my pizza and they said they made it without sauce once again. I confirmed again that we wanted the crust, sauce, and cheese, just like any other cheese pizza. They said they would correct it and at 8:20 I finally got my pizza. I opened the box and realized my cheese pizza looked absolutely busted (pic posted in photos section for reference). I decided it wasnt worth waiting another 10+ minutes and left. When i ate my pizza I realized they had just took off the cheese and put sauce on, then cooked it again so the sauce was warm but the crust was burnt and when i bit into the pizza the cheese would all slide off. Super annoying and all because of one cashier’s stupid mistake, even after we clarified before the order was sent and went back in...

Always hot NEVER ready

Lobby is hotter than a steel playground at recess.

Pizza is never ready even when you order ahead (app or phone, they are inclusive to both having the same amount of wait time as if you had walked into the store and ordered at the counter)

Cheese pizza seemed under cooked, which actually came as a surprise to me considering the wait time on it.

Pepperoni was alright but did have a few over done spots, which is also surprising assuming they went in the oven at the same time.

The crazy bread was short and basically rolled into a ball in the bag, something tasted off about it.

Staff attempted to at least let everyone know, 45 minutes to an hour wait, no matter how you ordered your pizza.

So since the price increase at little Caesars, you can probably get a pizza elsewhere at the same cost.

And probably less of a wait time, with probably a cooler lobby.

It's unfortunate that the workers have to work in such heat, could be why everything was moving so slow.
