WildFlowers Coffee Boutique — Restaurant in Luverne

We have been trying to find small town coffee shops on our cross country journey (Ohio to Wyoming) and were so happy to stumble upon Wildflowers Coffee Boutique! Right when we pulled off 90 and took a turn or two we saw the downtown area and just knew this was the right choice! The downtown area is quaint and the coffee shop is on a corner, plenty of parking nearby!

Right when you walk in there are very tall ceilings and well appointed decor and seating. Two women were working and quickly took care of us - I was so tongue tied and tired (hence the coffee) and she took my order with patience and kindness. She clarified information about what I wanted and that was just top notch service.

They had an array of baked goods and a small menu for sandwiches, toasts, and other goodies.

I ordered a 24 oz iced coffee with oat milk and sugar free chocolate syrup - deeeelicious! They have plenty of seating, clean bathrooms, and overall, the exact type of coffeehouse you would want in your own...

The smoothies and food here are delicious! The white chicken chili is a favorite. My kids love the scones too. The atmosphere is unique and fun! We enjoy playing games while we are there. However, in our experience, service is quite slow for food orders and portions sizes are not large. I have had 2 orders, that were called in for carryout, that were made incorrectly. The first time the manager took care of me and offered me an additional menu item for my inconvenience. The second time, there was no offer to make it right, they only remade the sandwich. Will keep coming, but definitely need to check my order before...

This is my absolute favorite spot to go for coffee and breakfast. I usually get their bacon egg and cheese sandwich on English muffin with garlic aoli. Delicious! It is a bit on the pricey side but I have never had bad food or a bad coffee from this place. And the staff is always friendly. This place is usually pretty busy, but that just means people in town really love it. But if you're in a hurry you might want to try calling your order in...
