My boyfriend and I stopped in to have there all you can eat wings. We’re locals from the area. Alex was bartending. We wanted to give norms another try because last time my boyfriend ordered wings to go for me at work and when i opened up my food i had no sauce on my wings and was dissatisfied. They said they would give us half off next time we come in.

First experience. We were sitting eating our food and alex came over and said were changing the genre to heavy metal. I asked alex who is requesting heavy metal and shes like I AM in a loud tone. As a pregnant customer heavy metal isn’t really something i wanna listen to enjoying my food especially when there was only 5 people in bar as it was an older crowd to be exact all eating food. No wonder why she was bitching how slow it was that night and night before. I wouldn’t wanna sit and listen to heavy metal and eat my dinner in that atmosphere.

Second experience. So granted yes im a slow eater because if I eat too fast with my pregnancy I puke. So alex brings us the bill. Granted my boyfriend had to remind her about the 50% off she owed us when they messed up on our wings before. Alex charged me $15 for all you can eat wings. I asked alex why did you charge me all you can eat wings when you closed the kitchen after i got my food and never asked me once if i wanted more wings before kitchen closed? She even said how she didnt charge some peopel all you can eat if their only having one plate before kitchen closed so why did she charge ME more when she didn’t even offer more wings before they closed the kitchen, granted I wasnt done with my plate but I wanted more wings thats why i came for all you can eat. Sorry I eat slow? Alex had an attitude when i brought this to her attention then grabbed the bill off the bar and ran back to the kitchen and started bitching about us. Alex came back out SLAMMED the bill on bar and walked away. Never apologized or showed ANY kind of customer service recovery to us whatsoever.

Ive been in service industry for over 18 years and I wasnt rude or anything. I sat there ate my food kept my mouth shut and just questioned the bill. This girl should get out of bartending now because she would not survive anywhere else with that kind of customer service. To say the least, I will not be back to norms if she is working in the building. I will love to still support norms and their good food but NOT with alex working. I will also spread word to other locals if norms is ever mentioned to not go there when alex is working.

All was needed was a simple apology and maybe a smile and friendliness. I can see why no women were in that bar that night only men. Women customers are not impressed by her short shorts like men are, we expect to enjoy our food peacefully and have a...

We have eaten here several times over the past year and the food was decent and the service was good. And that's the only reason today it's getting a two instead of one star. While we expect Friday nights to be busy we don't expect to wait over an hour for our dinner with people who arrived after us getting their meals before us. And then when the dinner comes out the one person with us had ordered a burger that was annihilated and the bun was as hard as a rock. Since we had waited so long he had a couple of bites out of it hoping to get to a better spot in the middle but that did not happen. When he gave the waitress his plate back and told her what the problem was, she said she would let them know. She never asked if she could bring him something else. When the time came for the bill, the waitress brought it and said she had spoken to Norm and that all he would let her do is take half off of the burger because he ate half. It wasn't half but who's going to argue? Quite honestly when it came time to pay the bill that person in our party handed the waitress $4 to give to Norm and to tell him if he needed $4 that badly he'd pay for the whole thing. Between the wait and the lack of customer service we will never go back there. I bet he doesn't treat the...

Had not eaten all day and wanted to try Norms. They have fish fry all so we got there just after 4pm. There are several selections to choose from. There were a few tables full already and our waitress was prompt with taking drink orders. When she came back I ordered the 2 pc fried Haddock plate and hubby went for the all you can eat shrimp. While waiting, we noticed the friendly waitresses really hustling and paying attention to their tables. Our order came fast and was delicious. Fish not watery or oily with a light coating. Big pieces. I am glad I didn't order the 3 pc. There must have been 10 or 11 shrimp on hubbys plate. They were large, split and battered. Very good. Yummy cole slaw and we had baked potato. I realky liked that we were given ample amounts of tarter and shrimp sauce as well as butter pads so we didn't have to chase someone for more though our waitress checked on us several times. By 5 the place was getting steadily busier. Friendly, efficient place. Reasonable prices. We will be back as they have good sounding...

A local bar owner outside of Oxford called irrigation station recommended this place. We stopped in on a Thursday before the happy hour crowd came in. I’m always nervous walking into new bars outside of town, especially small town bars. The bartender was really nice and checked on us at the perfect times. She forgot a couple things we requested, but it wasn’t a big deal it happens. We ordered the wings with lemon pepper rub 🥹 a must must try and we ordered the border burger my husband really enjoyed it but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but had to go because a group of people walked in and one of the guys wouldn’t stop looking at me which made it uncomfortable. But it isn’t the bars fault and we will be back.

Original post, 2018 - Was a bit hesitant to stop based upon prior reviews calling out lengthy delays, but we didn't experience that during two separate stops. Service was good, food was properly prepared & servers were attentive. Highly recommend the peanut butter bacon burger, just expect it to be a bit messy. Update, 2021 - Revisited Norm's when we were back in the area this summer. It's amazing the quality of food that comes out of such a small kitchen. Again went with the peanut butter & bacon burger & it was better than I remembered. Had French Onion soup as a side & it was delicious. Shoot for a mid-afternoon time & avoid the crowds.

We are really excited about our first stop here but somehow the orders must have gotten mixed up as we noticed people that sat after us... Three parties total received their food orders before ours. It wasn't a concern until we noticed it was the same thing we ordered, the cheeseburger special! I was really excited how close this is off the interstate as well and was hoping to have this as a return spot.
