Thank you 231 Taco Bell for restoring my faith in Taco Bell!
After over a 2 year hiatus from Taco Bell, I finally worked up enough courage to give it another try. I practically lived on Taco Bell in my younger years. I remember when they first launched breakfast. To this day, my favorite breakfast item EVER released by a fast food restaurant is the breakfast quesalupa. Real ones remember.
My experience at 231 was OUTSTANDING. I made a mobile order and picked it up. My order was ready in about 10 minutes, faster than I expected. My order was filled perfectly, no errors at all. Granted, I believe in keeping fast food orders simple. No substitutions or special requests. In my humble opinion, a fast food restaurant is not the place for those. The menu is created a specific way with a vision in mind along with efficiency.
The quality of the food was great. I’ve always loved the Crunchwrap supreme, and I was very pleased to see that it was still a fantastic menu item. The dorito CGC (cheesy Gordita crunch) was new for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Chalupa and the crispy ranchero taco were very tasty. Of course the Cinnabon delights were delightful, as their name would suggest. The cheesy fiesta potato bowl was exactly as I remembered. Not the most amazing thing you’ll ever eat, but solid, dependable, and filling.
The nacho fries were probably the least favorite menu item, though no fault of Taco Bell. The seasoning was fantastic, but the fries were not as crispy as they could have been. I suspect this was my fault, as I did not eat them when they were fresh. Nevertheless, I would order them again.
I give this location 5 stars because they did an outstanding job and I will be returning Taco Bell to my food rotation. I’ve missed it very much.
If anyone from Taco Bell corporate is reading this, I have a simple and humble request to make: please bring back the quesarito line. It was amazing. Also, I know this is a long shot. But please bring back the breakfast...
Read moreI ordered a chalupa cravings box with all chicken instead of beef. I got t two chicken Chipotle wraps and two fire tacos. I got my box with chicken in The chalupa only. The girl said " thats not what she heard" and called over her manager. The manager acted like he didn't want to give me what I ordered. Nobody apologized and just had terrible attitudes,! like it was my fault or I was trying to get something for nothing. I can understand this type of attitude from a cashier but a manager is supposed to set a good example. This happened at 9pm Monday the 31th. I wouldn't eat here again if the food was free. I believe in a living wage people like this give hard working professionals a bad name. Anyone wo wad there and was treated like that I was treated would probably be far less kind then me new management is needed then proper courses in customer service need to be...
Read moreRight now, if you go inside, you can only order at a kiosk. So, if you want a side of sour cream apparently you don't add it to your meal on the kiosk or your meal will be drenched in sour cream and you won't get a cup of sour cream on the side. I added sour cream to my quesadilla meal to dip the quesadilla, instead I got a ton of sour cream on my taco. I also ordered one of those value beef, cheese, and rice burritos and basically ended up drinking it because it was loaded with sour cream.
I didn't check all my food before I left. I guess that's on me... I did look for my sour cream cup in the bag when I got on my car, then went back inside to let them know it wasn't in there. I was told it was in my bag, so I just thought I missed it. I checked again, and there was no cup. I didn't want to argue about it, so I just left. NOW I know there never was a cup, it was all...
